    ?

How good is this guy ?

Haugesund is a mid to upper mid lvl divison 2 side. that hope to get promoted to aouer first divison in the next few years, if they are lucky maybe even this next season.

Aouer first divison is expanding from 14 to 16 teams so more teams will be promoted next season.

I don`t know to much about the club but last year the reach the norwegain cup final.

Also i think they migth need a new left back cause parts of llast season they used a young reserve player from Rosenborg that was there on loan.

hmm, the norwegian league does not buy players the individual teams does, and Haugesund finised 8 in the second divison last year so they are not really a big teams so an Okey MLS play migth be good for them.

Am I remembering wrong or was he the weakest player for Dallas' defence last year?

No better description of the Chris Gbandi Era in Dallas has ever been written.
Honestly, the worst part of Dallas' defense was the midfield.

Didn't he scored a spectacular goal from distance last season? That must have sealed the deal. :)

Why? Twellman is a good player in this league, and at least 30 times as rare as Gbandi.

Because, he wants to play overseas (if you haven't heard his commets he's pretty pissed that New England said NO to the deal three times, each time the offer went up), and it's 3,000,000 dollars. They could sell him and get a DP for the money they get from Twellman.

The ironic part of this is Gbandi ws the number one pick the year he came out and Twellman was number two. Gbandi was a little damaged goods because of serious knee injuries but Twellman was a silver boot winner at U20 WC I believe and was coming back from a stint in Germany so he wasn't an unknown. Lesson is take the healthy player if you have the top spot unless it is an absolute know recoverable injury.

I know it's not about Twellman, all I'm saying how FC Dallas is selling a player for only 100,000 and New England isn't selling Twellman for 3,000,000. And that he's not happy about, I hope he tanks it this year just to show New England what kind of mistake they made.

    So just relax there sport!

It's as if individual owners can make up their minds differently. What a concept!

If your not too happy with a player and someone is willing to pay you for him, great. Twellman is worth far more to the Revs than the $3 mil.

As a non-New England fan, I'd love to see them sell Twellman -- since it would make their team appreciably worse in 2008 and make it easier for my team to beat them. But were I a Revs fan, I sure as hell wouldn't want them to sell Twellman.

I don't see how keeping one of your best players (if not the best) is a bad move for a club.

I think the more interesting piece of news in that article is Borchers and Corrales coming back into the league. With the exodus of many lunch-pail players lately, it's encouraging to see a couple come back. Hope there will be more to come in the future.

Yeah, I remember how Gbandi, once he got citizenship was our left back (or was it right back) of the future.

As an MLS fan, it really sucks to lose decent American players to Sweden or Denmark or whatever.

If he was on your team and you had to deal with watching his semi-regular instances of outright stupid and selfish play, you might have a different perspective.

I would venture that most FCD fans are not shedding crocodile tears over his departure. Which is my way of saying that I don't lament the departures of decent players, I only lament the departures of good players.
