For xmas this year I asked for a Ljunberg away shirt, this time telling my parents to get it from kitbag.com because it was cheaper than going through the offical arsenal site, however I inadvertently opened it this afternoon and after looking at it I'm worried. I'm worried that the numbering/lettering on the back isn't an actual replica, because on all the other shirts I've purchased [Henry, Bergkamp] the numbering and lettering are actual numbers 'glued' on by heat [in the summer the bottom 0 on bergkamp's comes off a bit if I sweat a lot]. However on the new away jersey they seem to be nothing more than silkscreened on. Kitbag.com's page with the shirt. This isn't a terribly big thing, but I mean. I like to have the actual replica things because it feels proper. Does anyone else have any experience ordering from kitbag.com and getting this year's kit? I think my Henry jersey came from them last year and it has the 'normal' lettering. Also the receipt has no return label on it, which seems to suggest some shennigans maybe.
I got this year's home kit from them, but I only got it with the championship patches. I was very pleased with the service, and the removal of the VAT from the price at checkout pretty much cancelled out the shipping fee. That said, something about the letters they use on their "Hero" shirts doesn't look quite right in the pictures.
I ordered a shirt from Eurosport and got some plastic lettering that looks all too cheesy. My jersey from Arsenal came with the actual lettering the team uses for jerseys with the premiership logo on them. I perfer this and will get any others from the Arsenal shop.
Anyone interested in an Original Arsenal away jersey im selling? but no number or name.,.. Fkesoccer@aol.com
