    I see three options:

    Forgive Hernandez and start him
    Keep him as a Super-Sub
    Trade Him

Start him in place of which other mid?

Given that the Revs seem to do better when scoring first, I would use Cullen as a game-killing sub once Hernandez and Joseph helped bring the good guys up 2-0.

    All of the above?

Trade him: Absolutely, but only if you get something useful in return. A high draft pick or a starter is about all I'd take for him.

Super Sub: Well, if you can't trade him he can certainly still help the team. Until Cullen plays himself out of the lineup, or unless someone is hurt, DH sits on my bench. You can't punish a guy forever, so if someone in the lineup falters then....

Forgive and start: If Cullen or Joseph get in a rut, I see no reason to keep Hernandez off the field. He is still a quiality player and you might as well get some use out of him.

Basically, if Hernandez gives the team a better chance to win, then by all means play him. What's the worst thing that happens? If he plays well, the team wins and his trade value goes up. If he struggles, nobody will fault you for benching him.

keep him, unless your goin to get a Preki or a Donovan for him, which aint happening anytime soon. Many of you don't realize it but he is vaulable for this team. He calm in the midfield and confident on the ball. Plus, he's as close as a center mid we got.

I think too much as been made of the incident where he shot off his mouth. SN handled it well and as far as I'm concerned (and I suspect SN is concerned) the matter is over and closed. After all, sports personalities shooting off their mouth or not wanting to be in a specific city isn't unusual. Having a strong coach with good leadership skills usually keeps the matter from effecting the team or the players value to the franchise. So with DH. Matter closed

While the MLS schedule isn't any where near as demanding as for many teams in Europe it's important to remember that you can't function over a season with 14-15 playres. Injuries, suspensions, family crisis and just plane human weaknes takes is toll on players over a long season and a solid and deep bench is essential if a team is going to stay competative. An 18 man senior roster is marginally adequate. I think SN has done a surperb job of trimming off last years fat and dead wood and replacing them will bench players that are able to become starters.

Right now Joseph has played his way into the starting line up. If DH wants to start let him work for it with both improved skill and improved attitude. On any given game day SN will start the best eleven available that day based on their form that day. DH is a valuable member of the Revs Roster. Is he tradable---sure but only for solid value. Will he be in a Rev kit in 2004---I doubt it.

    Get Rid of him!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so tired of his attitude. Get rid of him now. He seems to still think that his the set kicker on this team. No, it's Joe-Max. Trade him away for a pick and that will free some cap.

See what the Doc just said. Isn't it time we let it go? He spoke out, and paid the price, so are you going to hold it against him forever? Nicol seems to have forgiven him, so why can't you?

Yeah, that Franchino sure has a lot of nerve taking free kicks...

Give it a rest, will ya?

If anyone wants to have DH in trade right now they better be willing to offer a player by the name of Figo or Bechham :)

    This matter--IS CLOSED.

DH is back, he's playing very well and according to Adin Brown he's back in everyones good graces.

    Re: Get Rid of him!!!!!!!!!!

Just because JMM is in the lineup doesnt automaticaly give him the right to take the free kicks. DH can shoot from 40yds out. Franchino can bend it like Beckham [sorry, i had to put that in there] and JMM can also put them in the net. Until one can do it consistantly, noone is designated.

If we trade him, he will kick our ass on another team. He is what we need, whether it be starting or subbing. He is vital to our success.
