Is there any chance at all that the Turkish fans might ******** off and inhabit their own forum? They've been asked nicely - at the top of this thread list - which they nicely turned into absolute nonsense. Matt Scholer - the resident demi-Turk makes promises about staying away, then doesn't. He also gets upset at the supposed 'stereotyping' that goes on round here. It's true that all Turks cannot be painted with the same brush. However - such is the predictability of their arrival, and such is the predictability of the content of what is written - that the Turks have acquired themselves what could only be described as a stereotype. The accusations of 'finger-pointing' and 'stereotyping' are rendered all the more amusing when one of the Turkish brethren unleashes threats aplenty - exactly in the mould of those which Mr Scholer is trying to persuade us not to focus upon. It's a bit difficult not to really - or was that the tabloids' fault again? Anyway, I think I speak for many here when I say - please begone. I don't feel that much of a need for well-rounded discussion of the topics provided by our Turkish chums - and I'm assuming others don't either. All that happens is discussions degenerate. I know the traffic's a bit slow on the SOuthern Europe forums, but surely, with the effort you guys put into posting here, that forum would improve immeasurably. So, with that said - piss off!! None of you have nothing new to say - everything all of you have said in any thread here, has been said before. And what's the deal with bringing up the Ottoman Empire by which to demean the English? Aside from avoiding the obvious historical fact - what reference does it have? My ol' friend Hkkiingningg used to like that line - talking of which, where is he? Anyway, yes - like I said - you've all been asked nicely, warned, threatened - just take the hint and do want everyone wants. Or would that be too much like hard work? * I should add that Manny is the notable exception (IMO), though the semi-level headedness of him is proabably attributable to his Danish surroundings.
