Henry has an injury and "is operating at only 70% of his powers." What powers you may ask? Why the power of MIND BULLETS. How about the power to bring a tear to the eye of any living creature with a soul? How about the power to defeat evil and send Alex Ferguson back to the pit from which he spawned while using his ice-breath to prevent a child's ice cream from melting and his telekenesis to levitate a puppy into the child's arms? How about the power of va-va-voom? Yes I'm tired and making fun of Sky isn't very difficult.

The ability to make defensive players stand still with a single shot.

The ability to leap tall defenders in a single leap (oh wait, he doesn't go for headers).

In all seriousness, the article is a bit worrisome. Achilles injuries can be quite painful (even if it's not a full tear) and can take a long time to heal. Worse, even if it's just a strain....continuing to play on it can increase the likelihood of a tear. I hope this article is exaggerating the problem. If not, Henry should certainly be rested for a few matches....this weekend included.

I agree, but if he's injured and need a rest why is he playing in a worthless friendly with Poland today. I think this is poor judgement by him and the team. He should have stayed home today, been on the bench for West Brom and maybe even PSV. Has the team had any comment on this?

Ok... are u guys sure he's injured? He looked fine against Spurs. No limping and did not seem to have lost a step (although when he loses a step he's probably still a step quicker than most).

i do not know if he's injured as much as his mind bullets are off target and his levitation powers are acting goofy.

You don't necessarily limp with a strained Achilles tendon. It all depends on how well you deal with pain. Moreover, if it's just a strain, it's usually after the match when it will start to tighten up and hurt worse. The worry is that if it is strained and you continue to play, it can get worse and eventually tear. When that happens it's a minimum of three months out.

If it's as bad as is being reported, we'll be lucky to get through the season with him intact.
