Wingo joined the Seattle academy in 2012 before spending three seasons at the University of Washington. He signed a homegrown deal with the Sounders prior to the 2017 season. Since then, he has made 62 professional appearances across all competitions. He has 6 goals and 2 assists over 2,264 minutes at the USL level, and 0 goals and 1 assist (against Chivas in CCL) in 843 minutes with the Seattle first team.

Bit of an odd move as far as I'm concerned, but good luck to Henry!

I think he's sleeper to carve out a decent career in Europe where he contributes for some Championship/Eredivisie club equivalent. Never thought Seattle gave him much of a chance and couldn't figure out his best position. He improved this year in limited opportunities. Always been fast/fluid and competitive. But he was more confident and better on the ball.

His best position may be wing-back. He can get up and down, and is capable on defense + offense, but don't know if he thrives at either.

Not a very odd move from my standpoint. He needed a change and the Norwegian league is commensurate to the proof he's displayed at this point.

Did not play in a 1-1 draw, which sees Molde eliminated from the Europa League.

Molde has 11 games left in the league campaign.

Henry Wingo came on in the 56th minute for Molde in a 4-2 win over
    Kristiansund BK in a friendly.

It was 1-1 when he came on but Wingo did not score any of the goals.

Wingo played the entire second half today for Molde in a 3-2 win over IK Start. His minutes might be going up.

Molde won Norway last year and are off to a hot start in 2020 with a perfect 9 points from 3 games.
