I need some help guyz... I take this ROP class, that is a TV journalisim type show which is aired weekly on our local TV channel. I've been assigned this week, along w/ the members of my group to do a report on the Quakes, and them in the playoffs. I'm sorta left to do this with 2 other ppl. and we need to come up w/ questions to interview them, if ne one has advice, or any questions.. for the team, coach, or a specific player.. please respond. All your help is greatly appriciated.

If you would like to see the show, it airs on Fremonts Public Access channel. Cable 26, fri. sat. sun. 5:00 pm. and if you don't get that channel. you can contact the teacher and ask for a copy of it. go to www.jfkhs.org
and contact mr.martienez and ask him how to obtain one. PLEASE HELP ME, DON'T BE MEAN AND JUST SAY ************ TO SAY IT.. I REALLY NEED HELP.

Question for Landon: "Why do you feel that you need to flop every time you touch the ball? Your never going to score on your ass."

Ask them if anyone has a specific ritual they go through before a game. Like putting on their right boot before their left, eating the same meal, etc.

When and who are you interviewing.....I'd hate to have to interview anyone after losing a match in the playoffs. Especially if you don't have an ESPN mic in your hand. An interview before or after training may be a better move.

Ask them how they go about getting psyched up for the game (or keeping psyched down). Or how they deal with pregame butterflies (if there are any). Like AlabamaQuakesFan said, how about superstitions? Do they carry any good luck charms with them on the field. I agree with ldb (he's brilliant) on the TPO for the interview. :)

Second this with: Watch video of Chicago...and learn how to fall. Landon always looks like a fish ot of water. He won't get calls with his arms flailing around like a bullet just hit him in the back.

He's still young. I'm sure that before not too long he will learn all the techniques of the genuine forward.

thanks for the replys.. OMG you don't understand. i had some of those ideas, but like w/ certain words.. my mind went blank.. and when i tryed to explain it to the ppl in my group.. they didn't really get it. but you guyz did! haha.. but uhm.. i interviewed them today @ their practice.. and we get to go to the game tomorrow and have media passes.. so if you have ne questions for them about the playoffs (winning and losing questions) that i could use for after the game tomorrow. i hope you all go! we need bigger crowds out there..

Do they ever go on bigsoccer?

It's not a completely serious question but you have to wonder whether or not they know what we say about them on here...

Crush - I'd be curious to know how they can turn off the competitive side so quickly immediately following a game and hug or shake the hand of the other team's players? I know it's sportsmanship, most of them are buddies, and it is only a game, :)rolleyes: ) but how on earth do they switch gears so quickly? Especially following an extremely physical or dirty game?

The jersey trade at the end of an important match in soccer is the coolest thing EVER in sports! I so admire it (and the momentary/maybe longer shirtlessness of the players that trade!). How do they do it?!?!?
