I just wanted to let soccer fans know that Tim Howard will be hosting a fundraising dinner for the Tourette Syndrome Assoc. on May 27 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The Assoc. is also holding a "Go Back with Tim" raffle with the winner receiving 2 roundtrip tickets to England, seats at a Man U game and dinner with Tim Howard following the game. Tickets are $25.00 each or 6 tickets for $100. It would be a great way to help out a cause that is close to Tim's heart and possibly win a once in a lifetime vacation. If you are interested in tickets for the dinner($195 per person) or raffle tickets, you can call the TSANJ at 908-575-7350. I'm a mother of a child with TS and funds are needed to continue to educate people about this very misunderstood disorder. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. -----E.D. (TSAMOM)
Video interview with Timmy Howard....... http://www.foxsports.com/content/view?contentId=2394068 He'll always be a Metro !!!!!
Thanks for adding the video. Tim is such a great guy, I hope we can get some feedback from this post. Hopefully Metro fans will want a chance to "GO BACK TO ENGLAND WITH TIM" and will pick up their raffle tickets from the TSANJ (908-575-7350). Please pass the word around. I'm new to this "message board stuff" and don't know if there is a better way to get the word out to the masses. I'd love help if you're willing. If you know anywhere else that I should post this, let me know. Tim put a lot of effort into this campaign to raise funds for the Tourette Assoc. of NJ and I'd like to have him see his dream become reality. The dinner on May 27 should be great. I hear CNN is covering it. Thanks for any help you can offer. E.D. (TSA Mom)
No Script Written for Tim Howard Special feature written by MetroStars retired goalkeeper Paul Grafer http://www.metrostars.com/metronews/submissions/2004/may/05262004v2.shtml (it includes in the end pretty much the same info about todays's event)
Thanks for the post. What a great tribute! I can't wait to meet Paul tonight. He's also contributed some great items for a silent auction taking place at the dinner. If anyone is interested, they are also accepting e-mail bids. I'm sure they will be posting the list of items, along with the email address to bid.
