I will be in Amsterdam from April 10 to April 20. I see Ajax are playing on the 19th. Can anyone give me some advice or information on getting tickets? How much should I expect to pay? I see that hospitality packages from the Ajax website run for 79 euros. That includes a 'welcome' at the training facility, some food, and 3 drinks. Anyone have any experience with that? Thanks in advance for your help; can't wait to see the city!

the stadium is massive--you should be ok at the ticket office or outside the stadium.

you could also try matchseats.com. they got me great seats for a feyenoord-ajax match in rotterdam.

It depends on who the opponent is april 19th (I don't know by heart).

There is no ticket sale at the stadium for certain matches.

Ajax will be hosting Roda JC Kerkrade on April 19. Also, if anyone knows if there will be any kind of international friendlies happening, I would love to catch one of those too. I am not only interested in the senior squad, but youth squads for both The Netherlands and Ajax. Another question I had- is Ajax the only 1st division team in Amsterdam?

yes, but there are other teams within a short distance. AZ and FC Utrecht spring to mind.

So I tried matchseats.com and the Ajax website, and the price is about the same- $75. This seems a bit steep. Does anyone know if tickets can be had for less at the stadium box office, or outside the stadium on match day? Thanks.

Everything you need to know, how to get tickets, how to get to the Arena, is available here:

    http://www.ajax-usa.com/ajax/tickets/index.html

Roda will be a good game. Good team, good fans, not high-risk or high-demand and therefore tickets *at face value* should be no problem.

You should also check to see whether Young Ajax is playing at De Toekomst while you're there. It is a great experience. De Toekomst is a short walk from the Arena, the games are free, and the atmosphere is amazing; the Ajax 'family' gathers to watch the next Ajacieden.

Again, visit our Tickets page to read how it's done. And if you have any questions, post'em here or contact me directly: jim@ajax-usa.com.

Thank you! This is very helpful, and I'm really looking forward to catching a match. How can I find out when Young Ajax is playing? That sounds like fun too.
