Hey Guys, I don't want to sound like a whiner or anything but 90% of the time I try to get on this site I find it to be painfully slow and I have nothing running in the background either.I also have cable internet access and my computer,while not the best, is nothing to sneeze at.I have a Pentium 3 550,so I can't fiqure on why this is.Am I the first to ask about this?and any ideas on how I can speed things up?I await your response.Thanks.
The site runs at the same speed for everyone, but after you take into account the exchange rate in Canada, it's like surfing on a 1997 IBM Aptiva with a fourteen four dial up. If it's too slow, move south.
Forget the new servers, Huss, I'm more interested in seeing the "Return of the Black Dot". You don't know how many threads I've stumbled into where I thought I was a participant but turned out not to be. Some of these non-Ian threads are rather boring, I must say.
