We have just started our pre season training and my cousin has got blisters on both big toes. Every time I've had blisters I just leave them there even though it causes a lot of discomfort and takes forever to heal. But we have training tomorrow, what is the best way to play without the blisters causing discomfort. I'm thinking taping around the toe would work but i'm not sure.

Cotton bud taped to the blister, and double socked of course.

Also, you can get these sheets that protect blisters, stops the friction etc.

Look at the dr schol's(sp) mole skin. Helps me TONS with blisters.

And, it hurts more if you keep the fluid in the blister. Drain them by making a tiny hold to drain out the fluid, use a pin or a needle, or a sharp tipped object. DON'T remove the skin.. as taht is what causes the real pain.

Mole skin is good. You could try cutting adhesive pads into donuts so there is less contact as well. I've had mixed success with that one. Depends on the location of the blister. Two socks is a must. And make sure the sock that's against your skin isn't cotton. Cotton absorbs the moisture and helps create more friction.

Yeah, I usually got blisters with the orange vapors. The trick is to wear double sock to reduce any kind of friction. But if you already have a blister try to buy the dr.scholls strip for blisters and wear double socks. Try to reduce all friction possible.

+1 for moleskin, but taping should work for protecting the blister. I have to tape my toes, blisters or not, before any game.
