I might be attending the game Saturday when DC comes to Dallas and I was just wondering, with this injury Convey has, is it likely for him to play in the game Sat? Also, considering the fact that both Dema and Esky are suspended for the game Saturday, who will take their place? After a few replies, I guess we can just let this post drop to the bottom.
Convey is officially listed as "Probable," but from what I've heard anecdotally, I don't think it's likely that he'll play. Josh Gros will probably play in his spot. Dema will be replaced by Ben Olsen if he's healthy, and Esky will likely be replaced by Adu or Quaranta. It could be another week of DC fielding a pretty questionable lineup due to injury and suspensions.
Olsen is out. The wedding was planned for the 24th as that was the original date of the all-star game before the switch to accomodate almighty Real Madrid. I have the feeling that Convey will play, as he has said that things are going better with his injury and he hopes to play. I believe that Adu will start this game, simply because Quaranta (as the only other real option at forward to replace Esky with his silly yellow cards every game) is not game fit, just coming off of injury. He will be a guy they bring off the bench. So I guess Dallas will get a full showing of the the young guy.
I hope I can see Freddy play. Last time DC played in Dallas, Freddy only played for like what, 12-15 minutes??? I can't remember. Well thanks for replying..I got this feeling no one would reply to a kids post.
You have nothing to lose by asking. Despite the occasional rudeness, people here tend to know a lot (at least believe they do ) and are willing to help out. See, the thing is that nobody would know it's a kid just by the post. For instance, would anyone guess I was really 14? (OK, maybe not. Most kids of 14 don't use the word 'despite')
If you didn't say you were a kid, no one would have known. Heck, your post is a lot more intelligent that most posters who are confirmed adults! But to answer your Freddy question, I think you just might see more of him due to injuries and suspensions to other players.
The real question is....why would a seemingly normal, intelligent young soccer fan living in Dallas want to support this group of wankers. You should be supporting your home team, kid. Come on over and sit with the Inferno.....you'll be a Burn fan in no time.....and you will forget all this silly business about DC United.
Well, if he was in the group of kids sitting by the Inferno for the first DC game at the Cotton Bowl this season, then I don't know. I'll give them this, though......they love thems some Freddy. And I guess thats why he's making the big bucks.
he? you are talking about me right? if you are, I am not a he, but a she. it's ok though, people make mistakes everyday.
Yeah, there were some young girls in that group for that first game. A lot of you were trying to yell back at the Inferno. I give you credit, you guys had some passion....something more young MLS fans need. Too bad it is directed towards the biggest gang of thuggish, talentless hacks the league has ever fielded. Don't worry, one day when you are older you will realize the folly of youth and join us in the Inferno.....and we won't even make fun of you for those dark days spent as a United fan.....well, maybe a little bit.
Don't you have something better to do with your time then to come over here and try to pick up on little girls on an internet message board? That sh!t may be legal where you come from but not round these parts. Pervert. You are a disgrace to your teams name...oh wait your team doesn't have one.
Funny, but I would hardly call that "picking on" her. Perhaps to such a weak minded, gutless freak as yourself.....but to those of us who were brought up to have confidence in ourselves....not so much. I'm sure she will be fine... BTW, why is that when an adult male talks to a young girl you automatically assume their is something "naughty" behind it? Hmmm....perhaps you have some internal personal issues you need to work out. I suggest making an appointment at one of the many mental health organizations in your area...I'm sure you can find the help you so desperatly need.
Mod note: This is not the "banter thread" please refrain from "Rivalry" style attacks of other posters. Thanks.
