    Hey Guys!!

I come from Scotland and in the last 2-3 weeks I have got really interested in American Soccer. I can only watch the games on a television network called channel 5 (C5) as I can not get ESPN2. However this footage is on very late and is not live meaning i have to tape it meaning i have to avoid the results over the past few weeks or so. I can cope with this. However what I can't cope is the amount of time they dedicate to MLS. On this day they said in the scheduling they would show the full 90mins of the Colroda vs LA Galaxy (2-0 loss game). They only showed 30mins and I was not happy. I did make a complaint to C5, but I get the feeling that I will probably be the only one who lodged a complaint. So, this is where you guys come in! If you could lease send an e-mail to C5 saying roughly the same things I have moaned about here!! The e-mail is: dutyoffice@five.tv

Simply pretend you are British and complain about the lack of time give to MLS on C5. I show the message i sent if it helps:

    Hello,
I would like to issue a complaint about the length of the American Soccer highlets on the early hours of Friday the 13th of June. Initialy, i was led to believe from your tv schedules that you were going to show the full game, as the time was listed 4.30-6.00. However, when I checked on teletext to finalise this so I could tape it, I discovered that the programme had been shortened to half an hour lasting from 5.30-6.00.

As it was also my favourite American soccer team playing (Colorado Rapids), I was deeply dissapointed that I could not see more of the game. I hope that the next time you show American soccer you will feature more footage to further my enjoyment and many others I presume too.

    Many thanks,

    (Your name)

If you could do this little favour it would make one Scottish Colorado fan very very happy!

Hmmm. Why would somebody in Scotland be interested in our humble little team? Perhaps it has something to do with this...

    Colorado has live male strippers?

Unfortunately most of the stripping in Colorado lately has involved other teams stripping us of our possessions. But in case you don't recognize him without his number 7 on, it's John Spencer.

To be honest the reason I started supporting Colorado is because Chris Henderson has the same second name as me and that Colorado were the first team I saw on TV for MLS. Finding out that John Spencer played as well was a added bonus.

Is John Spencer any good for you guys these days? Always liked him when he played in Scotland.

If it ain't Scottish, it's crap!

He's the team captain, and is thought to be the best offensive player on the team by some. The supporters are quite happy with him and have embraced Scotland. Some have threatened to wear kilts.

His best game was a hat trick on July 4th, in front of 50,000+ fans two or three years ago.

He has been playing quite poorly since he returned from injury and surgery. I don't know how many more seasons he will be able to play but if last night is any indication, maybe he will find his touch again. Hopefully, we need help desperately.

He had a goal (a header, in fact) and an assist last night. While it's hard to get too excited about one game, I'm hoping that the drubbing last night can create some momentum and see some of the guys returning to their previous form.

IOW, I'm not quite ready to send him packing just yet. ;)

I never said to send him packing, I was making an obvious observation. He had been sucking big time until last night.
