Sunshine brigade: we just dominated the shit out of cincy and were one soft Schulte player away from like 0.05 XG against. Once we get a real striker we may feast

I mean sure, but the results are the results. They've played five home matches against the Eastern Conference heavyweights in the last year and three of them were with Cucho. They're 1-3-1. Excluding Gazdag and Aliyu, these guys have played a ton of minutes in Nancy's system. They are what they are. The Crew need two legitimate goal scorers in the summer window who can learn quickly. The other elites are already better and they are going to keep adding.

I was getting eastern conference finals vibes there at the end. Just no Cucho or Ramirez to deliver the satisfying gut punch and dagger goal for the win.

We won the stands. It was the least amount of fcc fans ive seen at the LDC. Although I missed the first 2.

    NBC4 with some shade?
"Their biggest home game of the season."

Sheep League question? "Was the game vs Miami a home game?"

I mean, that is Arsten's big weakness. He has good physical traits, and he's not scared to try things, but his decision making and precision are bad.

I did that once at Beaver Stadium by having a co-branded credit card. It was one way you could use your points.

I have been complaining about that for a while. One of the things in our decision making about whether to renew or not. And I never thought I'd be saying that as long as I could still walk the bike path. The others are price and the Cleveland cr@p. Smoke is a secondary factor, as well (it really bothers Mrs KG).

BTW, did anyone try the adidas thing??? I did--they cut off lines pregame (understandable) but then when I went at halftime, they just sat around and did nothing until just before the game restarted. Only about 100 in line--but it was taking a couple of minutes per person. Ugh. I gave up after Rossi scored.

Not letting him in this game was the right choice, if we are winning vrs a team not at the top of the standings then I would agree. Would have been is disaster if he missed his first MLS PK last night.

Figure out how Tall can’t find a DP striker who is better finisher than JRR who is a practice legend only. JRR has potential but he should be getting a lot less minutes he was deserving of his spot on the bench to start but we just need better from JRR & Gazdag until we get a stud #9 that opens up things for everyone. Someone special like Cucho who plays at a higher level.

Gazdag is a 29 year old five year MLS veteran. If he’s lacking confidence right now, he needs to put on his big boy veteran’s pants and work his way beyond the situation. Perhaps that’s overstating things a bit, but he’s a professional athlete with a track record of success being paid a DP salary. He needs to earn his keep and take on the role of veteran mentor to younger players, not come across as an attacker whose confidence is so shaken he needs to be handed a PK opportunity to see if it’ll break him out of a scoring funk.

    2?

Need the DP striker and the team needs time to gel mostly new guys learning the system like Gazdag

He is thinking to much and not himself yet, he will be fine but we need that DP striker immediately.

Think Gazdag is just uncomfortable in the system. There were several situations where a player played a ball into space where I think he should have been, but he wasnt there or was getting there late.

Last night was the third ball dont go in game when the ball should have gone in. The Arfsten decision to pass when he could have scorched it into the top of the net like he did 2 weeks ago was questionable. The JRR headed chance was poor technique. He tried to flick it on into the goal at the near post when all he needed to do was head it down toward the far post. I guess we are stuck for now unless chase adams gets a game or two. Id still like more crosses a couple feet off the ground; we almost got an own goal that way.

We will see who we lose for the gold cup. It could be a long June.

He is very physical for his age, which has allowed him to excel thus far (although that might hurt his long term development of his technical ability and soccer IQ). In the near term, that linebacker esque physique is what we need

Im not normally a big fan of sending the chillies out there before theyre ready but in his case I'd make an exception.

You dont want to overwhelm the guy, but 10-15 minutes here or there shouldn't hurt.

As for Gazdag, I dont want to hear a bunch of sympathy blather. He's a ridiculously highly paid veteran who really doesnt get to get gun shy. He's got to do his damned job and right now he isn't.

At the least I dont understand the urgency of getting rid of Christian Ramirez. No, hes not God's gift nor is he a replacement 9 shirt but particularly as a sub, he'd look awfully good right now.
