    Fun match to watch.

Robben gets hurt and that helps The Frisian boys.

Okay how do you pronounce Knopper?

    KaNopper or just nopper?

    oh, the score - :D

    Heerenveen 3
    PSV 2,

late goal by the blue and white boys to win.

This was a great game, especially b/c I love to see PSV lose. Van Basten increasingly seems to be the John McEnroe of Dutch soccer--great instinctive talent, but his big, sarcastic mouth always gets him in trouble. Today was a perfect example: his foul led to the winning goal for H-veen, then sent off at the end for dissent. What a jackass.

Great to see the Heerenveen PSV game.

It was fun NOT to hear the six dollar an hour Fox announcer repeat his little verbal diarhea stereotype script every week on how quickly the 'minnow' team would crash and burn for the big time 'PSV'ers'

It was even more fun to see a damn good Erediviesie game.

I didn't notice the diarrhea as much this week.

I love Heerenveen's stadium. That would be a nice model for MLS.

In 2005 it will be expanded to almost double it's size. That sould make it even nicer.

BTW, the Heerenveen stadium is one of those 'standard' stadiums most Dutch teams have nowadays. Bit of a shame.

Dude. My bad. Of course, I mean van Bommel. I stand by the McEnroe analogy.

Not quite McEnroe for my memory, but he's at least half a Mac for sure.

I don't mind a fiery guy in that position, but you have to know when to shut up.

I think we (Ajax) will lose at Heerenveen. Or maybe a draw will be in it.

Because we play like a bunch of middle-aged ladies, especially in the last two games. That's why.

    Utter crap.

I feel sorry for Kowalski & others who've made this journey TWICE this season; just to be rewarded with such a display.

But congrats to Heerenveen, who've beaten the so-called top three this season at Abe Lenstra.

    Holy crap!

    4-1.

I wonder if Ajax wants Knopper back now?

    ----
I think that was Jesper Hankansson's first goal in two years.
