You don't think any of that goes just a tad further than "politically conservative"?

I've never heard Tom Price say anchor babies are the problem with our healthcare, so forgive me if I casually dismiss a DailyKos hit piece. I am interested in real ideas to fix our healthcare system. Pizza man does not have them.

Well, as long as the side of the square is less than or equal to the diameter of the circle divided by the square root of 2, I see no problems here...

It's one thing if Breitfart assholes spout such nonsense. That's just what's expected. But supposedly educated adult doctors putting such BS out there? Yeah, we should all have a problem with it.

I seriously doubt Tom Price thinks kicking anchor babies and stomping on their heads is the way to solve our healthcare mess.

Now let me ask you this, when you deliver a pizza to my doorstep what is an appropriate tip?

If your sister's not available then 20% of the bill works.

All I want to know is why Republicans don't have a bill for the upcoming session that replaces Obamacare. Why is it so hard for conservatives to provide a straight answer to this question?

Of course I know the answer. But conservatives seem almost reflexively unable to say the words.

It's better to be unpredictable. That way ISIS can't predict our strategy and counter to save Obamacare.

Former college player, just a refund a coach now. just blew out my shoulder again. been just over 2 years since the last one. this could mean life changes for years, just through financial implications.

Even just a share would be appreciated.

    Anyway...

If they had spent the last seven years developing actual ideas rather than obstructing government, they wouldn't be in the bind. The problem is, their idea is Obamacare, so they have to repeal a law they would vote for had the black guy not done it first.

Short of space aliens arriving with magical pills that cure all diseases or something like that, private markets (without major government intervention) will never be able to provide universal access to health insurance, nor universal access to adequate health care. The only question is how much government intervention should be present, and what form it should take.

I imagine there exists a future where individual health costs are low due to proper diet, exercise, and revolutionary health-care technologies that exist at a fraction of the price of today.

That vision is at worst unrealistically utopian, and at best a fairly long way off.

Death panels for those that don't.

Realistically we would have to have penalties of some sort to get people to exercise and eat healthy.

The penalty is the price tag and the shitty unhealthy feeling. and shame.

    It never went anywhere.

Subsidies still need to be paid for. if people can't bother to not eat junk sugar burger joint shit, i can't be bothered to care. people need help with problems not self inflicted.

We subsidize corn, meat and wheat among other things, not to mention fast food chains. There's a reason why cheese burgers are cheaper than fruits and vegetables...

And then we wonder why our health care costs are higher compared to other developed countries.

Right, so a few more unhealthy and slightly costly items are no biggie.
