Maybe change the title to he creates when he wants? He has been a more creative force than a finishing one.

So...when should we start talking about how awful Rashford has been since returning from injury? I get that he missed a lot of time, but he was awful since the restart and it sounds like he was pretty bad again tonight. Do we think this is poor form, related to the back injury, or was his great form early in the season just a blip?
He'll be just fine. He is 22 and coming off an injury. Not only that, but he's come back into a completely different team with the acquisition of Bruno and Pogba in the 11 again. If I remember correctly, Greenwood was coming off the bench mostly prior to the restart and Tony was hot/cold. That changed completely after the pandemic. Now Rashford will have to adapt his game and learn to contribute in different ways when the goals are spread out and he is no longer the focal point of the attack. And I think he is more than capable of evolving his game to do just that.
I am going to agree with the above post. I think the same of Pogba. They have to adapt to the new system. I think this match was just bad coming out of the midfield but that should improve (if a proper replacement arrives). Pogba needs to adapt to no longer being the alpha dog in midfield, the go to guy. Rashford will continue to develop his partnership with Martial, and realize that he does not always have to play hero ball. I am not that worried about either player.
This was an awful game for him today. He's been underwhelming or indifferent before, but he didn't have anything today. Bad decisions, bad touches. He lacked a spark. I think playing further from goal is hampering him. He's had to alter his game to accomodate Anthony. That's probably why he's spending more time hitting those long balls.
My memory has faded over the years, but I seem to remember an ebb and flow between Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, and Berba. Although they were each exceptional players, they were rarely firing on all cylinders simultaneously. Tevez and Berbatov suffered from bit part roles more so than Wazza and CR7, and would go on to prove themselves once they found roles they were better suited for. Tony (24), Rashford (22), and Greenwood (18) are still relatively young and need time to work through their inconsistencies. If/when we get Sancho it will require even further reshuffling and adaptation.
Not good enough for a team that aspires to challenge for the cl and win leagues . The difference in quality between him and Martial is huge. If Sancho comes in I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on the bench. Even before his injury he has displayed very limited technical and dribbling ability. feel free to disagree without resorting to insults as it’s just my personal opinion which I believe will age very well over the next few years.
Yeah, we never had a cohesive attacking unit when we had all 4. We just had loads of talent and they worked it out (sometimes). Right now, only AM9 & MR10 and PP6 & AM10 have any real links. It would be nice if we developed real synergy. It is a shame we don't have a real off season because I suspect Bruno will get better the more he learns the types of runs Marcus is prone to make. I think Bruno and Martial are key in Mason's development. He can learn a great deal from them.

For services to vulnerable children during the COVID-19 pandemic, we proudly present to you: Marcus Rashford 𝗠𝗕𝗘 ❤️ pic.twitter.com/a0k68kUEPi— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 9, 2020 Congrats to him, it's very well deserved. Definitely an example to many in how a young man acts and also how to judge the measure of a person based on what he does, not what he looks like. Let's just hope he can fully his form on the pitch this season and become the big time player he is expected to be there.
A touch of class from City. Congratulations, Marcus 👏All of Manchester is proud of you 💙— Manchester City (@ManCity) October 10, 2020
Marcus Rashford's campaign to feed hungry kids during the school holidays in the UK was rejected by the government.Today, he's turned his Twitter feed into a network of restaurants, cafes and communities who will feed those children for free instead. pic.twitter.com/VoyWwEsTw2— B/R Football (@brfootball) October 23, 2020 It so heart-warming to think of all those children tucking into hot lunches and dinners during half-term. And all thanks to the drive of Marcus Rashford and the kindness of the lovely cafes, volunteers and local councils ❤️ 👏🏻— Keith Downie (@SkySports_Keith) October 23, 2020 Amazing to see so many stepping up following the government's refusal. And all that from Rash's amazing work. Couldn't be prouder he's one of our own...
Yeah, I've been following the story and it is really important and amazing work that he's doing. He's an amazing human being.
