Uh, our “rivals in red” have had a blue kit last year and this year. I’m assuming you mean “rivals in red” metaphoically, just as our yellow clad heroes only had yellow shorts and socks last year. #crewyellow #firered
Last season the Chicago Fire extended its all-time home record to 17-6-13 against the Crew since 1998. Chicago is unbeaten in its last eight home games against Columbus (3-0-5) since March 19, 2016. We need to snap this streak
Not in my story. In my story, we always have and always will wear yellow, and Chicago always have and will always wear red
MLS standings after Monday are looking good for us after those results. A win @ Chicago and we could be on our way to getting hot at the right time! We need a Massive road win. The month of July is pivotal and we have a favorable schedule, so we need to capitalize and make up for a horrible start to this season
Yeah, if we win our game in hand, we'd be tied for 5th in points though losing the tiebreaker for wins.
7 goals out of 8 home games (3 in one game). Won the last two 1-0 to boost their (terrible) home record. This is going to be 0-0
There are currently 3 teams tied for 5th place on 25 points. They all have 3 points more than us, have played 1 more game and 2 have 2 more wins. So if we win the game in hand, we'll be even on points with them but losing the tiebreaker for wins to FCC and Orlando and even on wins with New England.

https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/bale-insigne-herrera-cucho-find-out-when-the-new-mls-stars-will-debut [Due to a lack of full training sessions, though, Hernandez is likely to come off the bench, according to head coach Caleb Porter, but certainly will play a part in Saturday's match in Chicago (8 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+). "Is that 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes we'll have to wait and see," Porter told reporters Tuesday.] Super giddy. AKA Herogasm.
Multiple people at the office have asked me this week about Cucho. WNCI was talking about him this morning on my drive into the office. There is buzz about the signing.
I dislike how the Grouchy Point is setup this week. My guess is that Cucho comes in at 75 and promptly scores the fastest hat-trick in MLS history by a newly signed player. However, no multi-GP are awarded because of another awesome own goal by Czichos in the first half with the Crew winning 4-0.
