A clerk at the Hudson County Board of Freeholders has confirmed to me that the board is meeting at this very minute regarding the Metro stadium bond float. The meeting should be over at 5pm. Stay tuned.

I am a native New Yorker who ended up in DC in 1993 (yes, I'm a United fan), and I am ecstatic for those in my home away from home. I traveled to the game at Giants Stadium last week, and with all due respect, the place is a pit for soccer. As old and decrepid as RFK may be, the atmosphere in that place for soccer is just so much better. I look forward to United beating up on ........... er I mean up with meeting the Metros again in a brand spanking new stadium. Viva MLS.
