    Please post helpful information/tips here

I live three months of the year in Shanghai, so I'll be trying to organized a tiny section
of supporters in the stadium. It's Chinese New Year, everything is closed, but I'll call
Shanghai Stadium and ask about tickets.

Previous tours had the teams stay at the Hilton, and in the lobby they sometimes have
a ticket booth for foreigh supporters. When Manchester City played in an exhibition series last year, the booth in the lobby had one section for City supporters. I'll post the findings
of my research here. Three star hotels with rooms as little as $25 a night are reappearing in Shanghai too, if anyone needs information on this, please pm me.

    From the FO

"Ticketing for the March 5 match is being handled by the hosts in Shanghai. We have not received specific on-sale information, but our executives who have been working closely with our partners in Shanghai advised us that tickets will not go on sale until February 15 (i.e. after the New Year celebrations). We’ve not been given any particular information about an away supporters seating section or tickets on sale in a hotel lobby.

Thanks for writing and supporting! We hope to have more information to send you soon."

    Best regards,

Tickets went on sale on Friday in Shanghai
You go to two websites, either www.lagalaxychinatour2008.com or www.bellsongroup.com There's an English interface, but the online store is still half in chinese. There is a phone number, but the clerk tells you to get them online. You have to register with them first.
Prices are in either USD or RMB. I got 4 seats in the USD28 section, which looks like the cheapest lower level.
PM me if you are coming, I may have an extra ticket.
