    Queiroz slams Iranian coaches

After exiting the Asian cup in a penalty shootout, Carlos Queiroz talked to the press and expressed his disappointment and regrets about many issues surrounding Iranian football but reserved his most venomous attacks on two of the Iran’s top club coaches, according to Mehrnews.

Amir Ghalenoei , head coach of Esteghlal and Hamid Derakhshan , head coach of Persepolis , the two clubs combined that have the lion share of Iranian fans, where singled out by Querioz as saboteurs !

The tongue lashing started with Ghalenoei whom Querioz accused of back stabbing. “He promised me that he will release Esteghlal players and fully cooperate with Team Melli program, but when the time arrived for the release, he refused and started giving excuses.” Queiroz said about Esteghlal and former Team Melli coach Amir Ghalenoei.

Look how he treated Nekounam and Teymourian , both of whom are pillars of Team Melli. Ghalebnoei , in essence , was leading a campaign to destroy the morale of Team Melli players.” Queiroz added.

The Portuguese coach, earmarked Hamid Derekhshan for special ridicule and Sarcasm ” What does a coach of 17 years old team , who has faked the birthdays of some of his player and was busted for it, know about football and Team Melli? All he achieved was shame and dishonor for Iran as a country and for the football federation that received a 4 years ban from youth competition because of Derakhshan cheating.”

Queiroz also recapped some of Derekhshan’s history “As a player, he does not have a clean sheet either. He has a record of misdemeanor and dishonorable acts, including his mutiny on Team Melli with some 13 other players who revolted against the late Team Melli coach Parviz Dehdari. What virtue does he holds to start criticizing us? ”

Amir Ghalenoei has been one of chief antagonists of Queiroz and repeatedly criticized him for long stoppage of the league program. Derkhshan, although publicly saying that the long break because of Team Melli is in the benefit of his struggling Persepolis, he has been known to criticize Queiroz on players’ selection and other tactical issues.

Somewhow, we think that this is not the end of the story. Niether of the coaches will take these lightly, especially Ghalenoei who has already filed a slander case against Nekounam in court. The hearing was adjourned until after the Asian Cup.

“Queiroz support has turned into a theatrical show ” Amir Ghalenoei

“It was all a big show. I swear that all this was orchestrated and arranged by people whose interest and livelihood are depended on Queiroz being the coach of Team Melli. Nothing like what we have experienced recently has been seen in Iran football before. No Team Melli coach had been spared the wrath of the media and had so much support after defeat in the Asian Cup. Queiroz lost to Iraq but his supporters are turning this defeat into a victory similar to when our team hit six goals past the mighty South Koreans in Asian Cup 1996!”

“These people, the ones who profit from Quieroz, have an agenda and have set a careful program. Every time there is something negative happening to Team Melli, they act. This Team Melli which had the highest budget allocated to it in the history of our Football gets beaten by the weakest and the most ill prepared Iraqi team with the lowest possible budget, so , his cohorts get into action with their goodies and start their campaign of support. If Carlos Queiroz is a great coach, why does he need a telephone poll to prove it? He should prove his worth in the football field and start bringing trophies. They push Team Melli players into the media directing them to say that Queiroz must stay to the extent that some spell doom and gloom for our football if Queiroz leaves! You don’t have to believe me, go and do some research and then come back and tell me if I am wrong.” Esteghlal’s head coach told the media in the pre-match press conference before his team match against Peykan on Sunday.

“This Mr. Fereydoon Moeni, and without much thought , comes up and claims that Queiroz is the only coach in the history who gave young players the chance to play in Team Melli! Where were you when Mayeli-Kohan, Ali Daei , Ghotbi and me introduce so many new players to Team Melli? Where were when I was the coach of Team Melli and created a brand new team that actually won a title for Iran? I have no issues with anyone who wants to support Queiroz , but don’t lie to people , don’t fabricate or twist facts to turn it to his benefit. Don’t insult the rest of Iranian coaches to elevate this man, you are insulting a nation.”

    Derakhshan fires back at Queiroz

Persepolis coach said “this man ( Queiroz) is constantly telling us and reminding everybody that the referee was the reason behind Team Melli’s defeat. If we are to talk about refereeing mistakes, then what about that Uzbekistan game when the ball clearly passed Team Melli goal line but the referee did not see it? How come the referee was not the reason for Team Melli’s winning in that match? Your are looking for escape goats and culprits to justify the elimination Team Melli and conveniently found Amr Ghalenoei and Hamid Derkhshan as lucrative targets. These are unjustified feeble excuses you are offering.”

Derakhshan referring to the high wages of Team Melli coach said “ He is the world’s third or fourth most expensive coach. But I ask you all, what did he achieve for our football? The players that he has at his disposal are the end result of our hard work in the domestic league, the work of club coaches; it is not the product of Queiroz that he has brought from his home. What did you have up your sleeve for this nation’s football? Have you developed this football to a world class standard, for instances? Have you introduce and played a beautiful football?”

Hamid Derakhshan then pointed to the past history of Queiroz and said “ The guy comes and publicly tarnish our image and insult us by referring to past events. I want to ask Mr. Queiroz, what about your own record and background? Mr. Queiroz your records are clear and everyone knows that the Real Madrid has kicked you out only after eight weeks in the job. A Portuguese player under you was busted on doping charges, and subsequently you were fired because of it. And there are other events. Now you are coming over here to teach us our destiny? Our football is bigger than people like you, and you do not have the rights to decide for us.”

Queiroz has singled out Derekhshan and Ghalenoei for special censure and accused them of being forces behind weakening of Team Melli spirit. The coach of Team Melli , said , both these two should have no place in Iran’s football ! Amir Ghalenoei , refrained from responding yesterday but said a special communique will be issued by him to refute Queiroz in the next few days.

I am getting tired of constant conflicts of CQ with Iranian coaches, IFF, newspapers, analysts... It was great in some point to get things straight up in our football specially removing some incompetent managers or personnel from IFF with military background, but now CQ is going over board and interfering with things way beyond his responsibility or authority. He enjoyed popular support of Iranian football fans and media up to now which kept him as Iranian head coach for 5 years, he used some populist moves which was ok up to some point, now he is just a nightmare, constantly bitching, having conflicts with everyone, throwing dirty laundry around and belittling Iran in general. Playing against weak footballing nations while refusing stronger opponents in last moment has turned to his hallmark.

I say this is enough. We don't want more conflicts and shenanigans. If he can work with current situation, and stays out of yellow journalists, we like to have him. But if he wants constant conflict which take the focus of national team and fan from our WCQs, I say we can fire him now and get done with it. He might really want this to happen because he get paid anyway. Instead of focusing on his job, he is ordering clubs and name calling his critics. This is not the CQ we want and this won't be, if he loses his popularity.

Ali Karimi came out and for first time said CQ is demanding too much and going overboard. Basically CQ is ordering our football association now. This is not right too. We want a good manager as head of IFF and some competent experts in our football association not some crazy corrupts or lame ducks without backbone. Mr. Taj appears to be similar or even weaker than the previous person, unfortunately.

Mr. CQ please stop the bitching and do your work, focus on TM, or take off and let us have a peace of mind. We are tired of your mind games and constant conflicts. We as fans helped you and supported you unconditionally for 5 years, please do not take advantage from this situation and a position you have. I personally don't like your style of ultra defensive aka park the bus, football. I think it kills the joy of football but for the sake of Team Melli and many other positive attributions done by you I supported you as our head coach. Now this never ending conflict of yours with your critics and some fans has created a destructive cycle of bitching/fighting/insulting/challenging flamed by yellow journalism. This is not good for our football, fans and culture. It seems you have learned Iranian psyche, and mind games very well and use it to the max. First you used a big club like Persepolis and its fans as a shield and now you have turned to SS Tehran for the same purpose. This BS only polarizes our fans and and makes them weaker and divided. This is dangerous and destructive for our football, so if you want to keep playing with Iranian fans, I ask you to leave Iran immediately, otherwise; refrain from siding with any particular club or picking a fight with another. NT head coach is for all of us not some of us. No body is above NT not even you. Popularity and power can fade away in one night, only the good name and memories remain.

Ali Karimi is popular because he has a good name and many of us have good memories with him.

^ Took you long enough to finally realize that charlatan is nothing more than a snake oil salesman.

But I'm actually quite conflicted. After 5 god damn years of playing like shit under this charlatan TM is finally starting to play well. There's no need to fire him for now. Someone just needs to drill it into his head to STFU and focus on your god damn job instead of trying to skim money off the medical facility, TM kit sponsors or party favours with Somali pirates.

Taj is actually far more competent than Kafashian, I know it's not saying much but for what it's worth I don't think he's going to just sit back and take it. Besides CQ character has been nationally unveiled by most of the Iranian footballers, coaches, managers, and old timers. It's just the yellow "journalists" in his pocket and the IRIB scum - keyroshiour and the rest of their self hating gang - that's keeping him afloat.

I don't know about Ferdosipour but he loves Persepolis and Ali Karimi. Ferdosipour won't dare talk over Ali Karimi. I love both Ali Karimi and Karim Bagheri. If they complain about something that means things are really awful. CQ is a good trainer and youth scout, I give him that. He is also dried "Bazikon Salari" in NT which were good, but now he is either demanding too much or people around him are making him on rage all the times.

Mansourian actually showed his real face, I had a lot of respect for him when he was in naft and head coach of u23 NT. The first bad sign was when he was wearing the blue hat at 2013-14 final. when he joined SS finally he showed his real color. He is nothing like Golmohamadi or Hashemian. He is an obsessed dude. I am really sorry to see this. I had high hopes in Mansourian.

Mansourian is a hardworking opportunist. Nothing wrong with that. Hamid Estili is actually far more superior opportunist than Mansourian it's just that he wasn't a hardworker.

lol, Bagheri's personality is like Brando. They're both super respectful, kind, and quiet types that avoid getting into arguments and limelight altogether. So when even they're speaking out, yea, you should know something's really wrong.

Some of the moronic CQ bootlickers still think this is about the TM camp in Armenia - totally unnecessary too btw - but no, this is about Mr. Dictator demanding every TM player not to go to their respective clubs for FIFTEEN DAYS or else they'll get cut from the TM list. Remember, he didn't even say that they shouldn't practice or train at their respective clubs for recovery reasons, he told 'em not to go to their clubs period. He has also banned all the TM players from going to that medical facility but the press is keeping that one on the down low. It's just hilarious, how pathetic this guy is, and even more so how pathetic and wimpy the guys in charge over there are to let this asswipe take it so far. Anywhere else he'd have a shoe so far up his ass he'd be puking his guts out. Oh but not in Iran. He's worked for Ferguson you see, Keyroshipour has a man crush on him you see. So everyone lets chill out and give him what he wants...

Golmohammadi is not what you think. Remember his interviews after the first a few games of last season. Here are two of them:

Iranian coaches are all emotional but Golmo is a level above Mansourian in class and politeness. Mansourian is what is called in Iran as "Ab zire kah" some sort of weasel or back stabber. Mansourian is good in selecting a strong squad but he also uses dirty old tricks down by the likes of Rouyanian and Fatollahzadeh. He tried the "Marefati" approach in Naft and kept all Naft players silent until he took off and left them in this situation. This alone shows he didn't care for players but his own career. As soon as he got the job in SS he totally forgot about Naft players and his promises to them. Golmo has not done anything like that so far. Even after the Hazfi cup which was obvious SS was using its influence in Sport Ministry to snatch one last cup. SS Tehran had 14 days to recover while Zob Ahan had only 3 days, it was played in Khuzestan which on SS can fill the stadium and Rahmati who was not supposed to be playing because of 3 yellow card penalty, was given a free pass by IFF. Everything was set for SS to get Hazfi Cup but they lost it.

Mansourian said he did not get even 1 rial when he coached Naft last year. He said that he even spent 150 million Toman out of his pocket for Naft. He could leave Naft for SS after the end of his first year in Naft but he did not and decided to finish his contract.

The place of hazfi cup final was determined before Esteghlal and Zob han reached final. The Hazfi Cup final was played after the end of league where Zob Ahan had to play ACL games unlike Esteghlal.

TBH, Mansourian is a good opportunist and Yahya Golmohammadi is not that much worse than Mansourian in terms of being opportunist and I am still mad of his interviews in the beginning of last season.

Anyway I rate Abdollah Veisi much higher than both Golmohammadi and Mansourian

Abdollah Veisi > Golmohammadi + Mansourian

I had respect for Mansourian when he was U23 coach and first year in Naft, after that started unprofessional behavior because he saw the opportunity to lead SS Tehran. SS and Persepolis need coaches with enough experience to handle the pressure in these clubs. Golmo, Daei, Mansourian should have stayed away from these teams for at least 6-8 years.

The way Mansourian behaves now, I can not trust him anymore, he act like a total back stabber and liar. After first year in Naft, it was not Mansourian who decided to remain in Naft and not join SS, but it was Mansour Pourheydari and other SS veterans who prevented him to become the coach. It seems you don't follow the news. Mansourian kept all Naft players and staff silent until the season ends and then took off. What about Naft players? How did Mansourian help them since he left? He just wanted to end the season with a good resume and gave empty promises to his players. He prevented Beiranvand coming to Persepolis in winter transfer window and sat him on the bench to set an example for other players wanting to leave. Knowing some of the players had felt things were going wrong, but he forced them to stay. His best players in Naft, Vahid Amiri, Jalal Husseini and Beiranvand joined Persepolis although he was trying to bring them to SS with marefati approach. Then he started all these BS and hashieh provoking both SS and Persepolis fans cursing and fighting with each other again. He was rubbing CQ's balls in NT and giving false promises of being a part of NT to good PGPL players if they join SS Tehran...

Honestly, I thought for once we had crossed the Blue Red borders and with the likes of Daei, Golmo, Hashemian, Mansourian and other young coaches we could bring back the old friendship and healthy competition to these two giant rivals. I am sorry that I was naive.

Mr. Delusional aka Mansourian (coach of SS Tehran): I have job offers from Championship league!

After days of investigation it turned out he has received fake documents but he was still bragging about his job offers from British league. The offer is so obviously fake that anyone with little knowledge of English can recognize. After enough publicity another former coach of SS Tehran, Mr Mazloomi, came out and showed his job offer in English championship league. Mr. Mazloomi said many people have received these kinds of fake contracts but no sane coach believe in these scams, or brag about them. Where is the glory in having fake offers?

Iranian media contacted the English team to investigate Mansourian's job offer and this is what they have received.

    :D:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::p

lol at this delusional coach! He had not even investigated to see the offer was legit or not and was bragging about it to media!:D For god sake his team is at bottom of PGPL despite being the richest Iranian football club.:x3:

There isn't a single respectable, and acclaimed Iranian coach who doesn't have a problem with this charlatan CQ. Unfortunately the iranian football media is deep rooted and enshrined by Ferdosipour though, and we all know what his mouth smells like when he opens it. Someone should let CQ's wife know about his indiscretion with Adel. Rofl.

Even Mayeli Kohan taunted Mansourian about CQ:

Before start of the current IPL season, there were rumors that Mansourian asked Mayeli Kohan to talk to Shahbazzadeh and convince him to stay in Esteghlal instead of moving to Turkey. The journalists asked Mayeli Kohan about that and he said:

Mansourian aslan sohbati dar morede Shahbazzadeh ba man nadashte. Mansourian maro dige tahveel nemigire chon classesh khaili bala rafte va faghat CQ ro tahveel migire :D

Ali Karimi didn't follow Team Melli as assistant coach before AC 2015 because IFF embezzled the money Karimi injected to the team to help pay for the airplane ticket, hotel reservation and rewards for NT players. Karimi asked Hedayati (Iranian billionaire and a major supporter of Persepolis) to help the national team because IFF was broke and couldn't pay for the upkeep of the national team. Hedayati gave a check (about $400k) to Karimi. Karimi gave the check to IFF to be spent specifically for NT expenses but IFF paid for a fraction of NT expenses and stolen the rest of the money for their debt using other excuses. Ali Karimi resigned immediately so he wouldn't be involved in this scheme and didn't give any interview to avoid making problems for NT.

Later, people inside IFF and yellow journalists speculated he resigned because he didn't have first class ticket. Now, his agent came out and talked about the actual reason. Ali Karimi has avoided to tell the reason up to now. Watch it yourself.

This is along the new allegations against corruption in Iranian football revealed by few big names started with Masoud Shojai's interview. I hope people find courage and come one by one and talk about all things they were prevented to say by Mafia and corrupted people in our football.

Ali Karimi refused bribe money by Emirati teams when he was playing for Al Ahli in Dubai. Apparently, a team could be champion if Al Ahli would lose in final match day, so they offered him $50K (back then his whole contract was $600k for year) to not score any goals, he took the money and gave it to his club Al Ahli and explained everything. He scored 2 goals in next match! :) The club owner Sheikh Maktoum (the ruler of Dubai) said don't say anything because it would cause problem among Emirati Sheikhs, so they covered the whole thing but loved Ali Karimi even more for his honesty.
