I'm assuming that many of you have seen the Papa Gino's commercial with Twellman starring. Does anybody else think that he's, well, sold out by doing this? Yes, he needs to make money, but something doesn't seem right about him using the Revolution as a means to sell Papa Gino's. Vote!

this is among the early frontrunners for the most sanctimonious/nimrodical BS post of 2003 - and just think... we were here

  5. This is the first time I hear of TnT making it into TV commercials.
Good for him, and it can only be good for soccer in general.

May I just ask what the hell you are talking about? What even gives you the impression that he sold out? I'd love to knock this grapefruit you just put right in everyone's wheelhouse for a homerun but I won't even waste my breathe...

    Sold out?

When did MLS become a socialist entity?

C'mon. He should be doing commercials pimping Cadillac Escalades for what he's done for the Revs. The man's living out the American dream - that's the least he deserves.

Oh yeah...7:21 P.M. "The Revolution have just sliced the Fire to ribbons," said Adrian Healey

As long as he likes the stuff that's cool, even if he doesn't that's cool too. I personally wouldn't pimp some product that I didn't like, but to each his own. What is Papa Gino's by the way?

As long as Twellman keeps scoring goals, he can sell out as much as he likes, IMHO.

Isn't that what the bottom line should be?

A Pizza Chain found predominantly in the Northeast. I wonder if panicfc will see this thread and rip chains apart. :)

This may be the dumbest thread of the year. What's the opposite of "bump?"

Why yes,I think he has sold out.

If I were a NE fan, I would want him sent far, far away...perhaps to Dallas.

    Deal?

Obviously any additional income he can generate increases the likelyhood he'll stay in the MLS. As far as I can tell, that's a good thing for us Rev fans.
