Ah! I hadn't noticed that....Sox/Revs doubleheader is to good to pass up, I'm in as well... I just hope the Sox can get the game wrapped up in 6 hours!
Perfect. I'll check into group tickets for the Jays, if enough people are interested. We'd only need 20 people.
Do they even check tickets up there anymore....I figured they'd just let people walk on in! I would imagine there'd be more Sox fans up there than Jays fans no? Anyone been up there for a game recently?? how many empty seats for a Sox/Jays game??
I was up there 7 years ago (FWIW), but there were definitely more Sox fans in attendance (or at least cheering) than there were Jays fans.
If people really are interested in Sox tickets ... how much would you be willing to pay? I just called and got ticket info, as high as $62 per person, or even more reasonable for $45 per ticket. If we actually do the group for a second game, the ticket actually gets cheaper. Let me know what you guys think.
I'd pay $45...I'm sure Ryan, Wayne etc would be fine with that too... Can we stand, chant, bring in the drums etc...I wouldn't mind getting the cheapest tickets if we could do whatever we wanted there...I imagine the more expensive the ticket the less we'll get away with.... Streamers??
So for the Blue Jays games I can but all 9 Red Sox games in Toronto plus one extra for 90.80. These are cheap seats @7.58 a game plus ticket charges.
I think I read somewhere a couple of years back that when you factor in all costs(tickets, food, travel, parking) it's cheaper for someone from Eastern Mass to drive to and attend a Red Sox game in Toronto than it is to drive to and attend a Red Sox game in Boston. My second favirote "whoa" stat when it comes to Red Sox tickets, the first being that the average price of a Red Sox ticket is double the average ticket price of the 2nd highest average price team, the Cubs.
I could believe that, back in the good old days of $1.75/gallon gas and $0.70 for $1CDN. Might be different in these dark times
