I saw this poll on Terra.com. I think its a legitimate question that needs to thought about.

    Peru y tu?

There is no way that they are eliminated already. Ok so they're 1-4-1 right now, but there's still 12 matches to go. They put a couple of victories together and they're right back in the mix. This is probably one of the most if not the most competitive South American competitions in history as every team can defeat every other team in the region and anywhere. The points are so close that I couple of wins can move them up a few spots in the table. By no means are they eliminated yet. They lose a couple more and then maybe, but not this early.

You have to watch all the games that they've played and look at their schedule.

I would say that they are, because it going to be REALLY tough for them to come back.

I would say that they probably are. But Bolivia probably is as well, and Uruguay most likely will be with a loss at Colombia on Sunday. Of the lowest teams, Ecuador has the best chance because they have played the most difficult schedule thus far.

People, your comments are appreciated but there's a poll there for a reason.

I don't care for voting Mr. Bossy. There is also a reason that your name appears right next to your post, so you don't have to sign them, but does that stop you?

I hope this has nothing to do with the 3-1 loss to Peru.. but anyhow, didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.. just wanted to get an idea of what people thought in numbers. Your contributions to this thread or any other thread is, again, appreciated, but done the right way it means alot to everybody in this community.

As far as my sig goes, I'm sorry you're offended by it... if it does please do not look at it anymore. Whats more important here is the content, not the context. Again, if you think my context (sig) is out of hand, its nothing personal... its my pride for my country, nothing more, nothing less.

    Carry on...

Then why in the hell did you put a poll about Colombia?
Why do you sign with you nick?
Why is your nick a question?
Why is your nick a question that doesn't make sense?
Why do I have to vote if I don't care about Colombia?
What if I want to vote that Peru is eliminated?

    Venezuela y tu?

Yes, because I was rude to all of the Venezuelans I knew after that loss as well, I'm just not of those people who goes crazy after the loss of a national team, it's disappointing, but it is also just a game.
I could care less about your sig, I just don't care for people telling me what to do and pointing things out like I am stupid.
Also I believe that you meant context and not content, because the pride in your country would displayed in your name. How the context (ie the placement of Peru y tu at the end of every single one of your posts) is displaying national pride is beyond me.

It seems that Peru's win and possible win this weekend has upset alot of people. But there's nothing I can do about that... but again, thats not what this thread/poll is about. Is about Colombia being possibly one of the first teams to be already disqualified.

Anyways, sorry but Peru can't please everybody.

    Please continue.

Oh my goodness, I never realized you were such a passively aggressive obnoxious poster.
Like I said, this is not about a game, this is about you personally being annoying. Why must you blame the fact that people don't like you personally on your country, I thought you loved it, why put your own flaws on it? I mean saying that Peru can't please everybody because you are condescending is just not fair to the rest of Peru and the other posters on this site from Peru. But if you cannot face your own flaws and must come up with other reasons as to why your personality repels people, I suppose that is your own business, just don't try to bring me into your pathetic attempts at analyzing other people's motives.

I wasn't aware your name is Peru, but I do know that Penarol is not the only one to find you annoying.

OK so you think I'm arrogant (because of my sig), obnoxious and condescending... this is obviously your opinion of me which I will accept since opinions are opinions. But please, don't disrupt the thread by writing unnecessary bandwidth-consuming posts that has nothing to do with the thread. I just simply asked everybody to do the right thing in terms of posting but you took it personal... sorry but I can't help you with this issue of yours. If you want to contribute , please do so, but all I ask is to be done the right way. I don't see anything wrong in that. Now if you find it necessary to continue this, please message me or even email me (peruytu@yahoo.com), i'll be more than happy to continue this with you. But just please, dont disrupt the thread. Thank you for your cooperation. And, I promise, this is my last past regarding your issue.

Thread drif thappens, it's no big deal. So this thread is being hijacked, hey it happens to many other threads.

I think your sig is silly - it's the same as your name, I don't need to see it twice. Don't even remember why it was brought up (yeah I could look, but), but I thought your responses to Penarol were pretty funny, LOL funny in fact pretty childish.

Sorry, I don't do private messages and e-mailing with people I don't know. Given the high percentage of threads that are regularly hijacked I doubt anyone outside of yourself cares about this "waste of bandwidth." Think of what I am doing as a favor since I am keeping this poll up near the top so more people can vote and you can get more of your precious data.
Again, I have no problem with your sig, other than the fact that it is silly, and I'm not exactly sure where you get the idea that I think you are arrogant, perhaps you are just projecting what others think of you onto me. I did not take anything personally until you supposed that I was angry about Uruguay's loss to Peru. I just pointed out that telling people to shut and just vote in your passive-aggressive way was as silly as telling you to stop signing all of your posts.
Perhaps you need to stop assuming things about people and stop being so upset about having your thread hijacked.

Colombia is still has a chance but they have to play with urgency, just like when they played against Peru for the rest of their games. By Fecha 9 we'll see if they're still in it.

Please, at least the way you brought it up before had some creativity and was a bit of a backhanded dig, this is just a pathetic attempt.

exactly. any team right now is realistically around 4 games away from switching to the other side of the spectrum. hell if things go right ecuador could be top 2 or 3 in 2 more games :D
it is beyond me how someone could be out right now when the gap in points is so close and there are so many games left.

having said that, i find your signature and anyone else's who is jus ttheir name pretty dumb.

HERE IS AN IDEA: on sunday we have colombia and Uruguay, playing for the last spot in conmebol (possible elimination by the end of the yr)

if colombia wins I get to put a new signature (designed by penarol1916) on Peruytu
if uruguay wins I get to carry a new signature (designed by peruytu or penarol19)

deal? If venezuela seals a draw, we all get to tell peruytu by way of instant polls (he loves them) what kind of sig. he will carry for the rest of june04

    deal?
