Has anyone speculated on a starting lineup v. Mexico?

Haven't seen any. Might as well give it a shot.

    Howard

    Hejduk Pope Bocanegra Convey

    Mastroeni

    Stewart Mathis Beasley

    McHead LD

Might switch up LD and Mathis. Could conceivably start Klein over Stewart. I don't see Cobi starting at right mid. I think the Convey at LB experiment continues.

Have I got it all wrong? Any other possible attacking mids on the 18?

    Interested in other people's thoughts.

Mathis will be up top and Landon will play everywhere but nominally wil be at midfield.

I like that idea, though I'm not sure Mathis is ready to play up top.

    He might get inspired though.

I have a feeling Mathis will come up big. He is healthy for the first time in a while now and I hear he is very determined. He is a talented guy when his head is on straight so if he gets service, we will see some Clint goals.

I don't. I've come to expect absolutely nothing out of Mathis recently, so this way I won't be dissappointed.
