Just curious, are they the same price as normal season? and are they available yet?

They're on sale now at Ticketmaster.

A quick search for two best available seats puts you in the upper deck.

Buying two anywhere in the lower deck is out of the question, as apparently the whole lower bowl is sold out.

It's Special Game C if you have season tix.

Yeah, I'm pretty shocked too. I just emailed El Jefe to reserve a ticket with the Barra...hopefully they have a few left. If the lower bowl is sold out, then there should be more than the 26.5K that were there last time...maybe we'll break the 30K mark!

Lower bowl being sold doesn't mean anything as far as Barra, they count all our sections as sold out since tickets are bought and you can't get them through regular channels. Good idea to reserve tho :)

Good point! We should have the mother of all tailgates for this one (next to MLS Cup, ya know;) ). I'll definitely be there super-early with a few pounds of my famous marinated lamb (the closest thing to a goat I can find! ) . Also, unlike last time against Chivas, the DC United season ticket holders probably had first dibs at lower bowl seating, so there should defintely be more DCU fans in lower bowl than last time. Plus, as I heard that the ol' baseball diamond will be gone...thank goodness!!!:D I wonder, does anybody know if the seating will (as a result) be changed somehow???

You can get all kinds of cuts of goat meat from pretty much any of the butcher shops in and around the Florida Avenue Market in NE DC (bordered by Gallaudet University on the south and NY Ave. on the north).

If it goes back to the way it was, the center line will move about ten yards closer to 'home plate'

I actually live in Charlottesville (and the lamb has to marinate overnight)...I'll be sure to remember that for the first playoff home game though:)

Part of the increase is due to half-season planholders being moved to other locations as Special Game C is in both the A and B plans.

I'm planning on making up a big batch of curry goat someday soon, but it's an all-day thing, which means getting up at the crack of dawn to have it ready for an afternoon tailgate...

Mmmhh...curry goat. I'll probably get up early as well to prepare some of my homemade flour tortillas. This will be a great tailgate!

This is the website to go to:
    http://www.soccertv.com/amer.cfm
They only show info for Copa Sudamericana a week in advance though...looks like all games are on FSE.

Wasn't this game packaged with the Beckham game? - I think this is gonna be huge - It was monstrous back in March in really lousy weather - Wednesday night or not, I think this approaches 35K or more easily

Tasty sandwiches are about 1% of what you can get at A. Lilttieri. If you like to cook, it's heaven.

The Florida Avenue Market is grey and grimy and unfriendly at first blush, but if you take the time to get to know some places in it, it's a wonderland.

I know last time CSN had the game. Nothing listed on the united website

FSE is covering the cup games, and I am enjoying them.

So, I guess that means I have tickets? I thought I'd checked my tickets and didn't see anything marked as Special Event C. I'd better mark it on the calendar.

I imagine if we find out where they're staying, we'll be calling their rooms all night and setting the fire alarm off at 3am.
