Haha, shocker that no one agrees with the Madrid supporter. Fair enough, I was just expressing what we (RM fans on the boards) saw during his time in Madrid. You don't have to agree, but I'm certainly not making it up. That said, he did some very good things with the club, and for me and many others he fit our system last year so much better than Kaka, that we didn't miss Ricky much when he was injured.

One of the great things about Rafa are his setpieces. He was the best player we had for serving up dangerous balls into the box, as Ronaldo only serves up laser beams. Hopefully Crouch will get on the end of those and increase his goal tally.

Again, wish him the best and I'll be watching Spurs every week to see how Rafa gets on. Good luck.

Does anyone know when VDV will be presented to the press at Spurs?

I don't know if this was posted here but Danny Rose is going on season loan to Bristol City via spurs main website.

We don't do that kind of stuff very much. So I assume he will just be on the team come game time this weekend.

Surprised Caulker still hasn't gone out on loan. He was all set to go to Leeds, not sure if he's injured or being rested.

He'll likely be presented to all before the match this weekend. Then it is game on.

Might have had to do something with his lack of playing time, perhaps?

Of course, but even when he was playing consistently due to Kaka's injury last season, he was routinely the first player subbed. His first season he played quite a bit due to Sneijder's long-term injury and he was neither effective nor in shape. He certainly improved and proved many wrong with some solid performances last season though.

He looked good for Spurs at times on Saturday, he and Modric could be a nice partnership. Happy to see him be an important player in the squad, he deserves it.

I was reading about a rumor that we were interested in Andy Carrol?? Anyone pick that up or has died down or was it not even an issue to begin with?
