Perhaps he was reading "Go BURN!" as your team and surmised that you supported the Dallas Burn. Maybe you should learn how to read the standings table and go ask your own mommy for a cookie when you figure it out.
Except San Diego doesn't have a Fox Sports Net. The Fox Sports Net which is shown on Cox and Adelphia cable systems comes out of LA. I guess this wouldn't keep it from showing San Diego Chivas games, but it's not exactly a local channel.
good point. My digital cable always says that there is an Angels game on but when I turn it on it's always something different. I find that annoying because I never know what will be on.
I just hope that they make the pitch wide enough. Every game that I've seen played there has had a ridiculously narrow pitch.
There was an article in the Union-Tribune today talking about what the city plans to do with Qualcomm after the Padres leave and they had a small paragraphy about MLS: "In a bid to attract a sports team and more revenue to the stadium, city officials are talking with Major League Soccer about adding a San Diego franchise next year. They hope a Mexican professional soccer team will move to Qualcomm and become San Diego's franchise. The 10-team league plays April through September, with about 15 home games." Can anyone point out the mistake(s) this guy made?
What do Padres games get shown on? And what about Fox Sports Net? Do you get the West 1 or West 2 feed and/or is there a strictly FSN LA feed?
In LA the Galaxy are not shown on the local Fox Sports Net. Two local "non-sports" stations handle them.
Padre games are shown exclusively on Cox Cable Channel 4. We get the West 1 feed. I don't think you can get the West 2 feed in San Diego without a dish of some sort.
Speaking of 4SD, the Sockers announced that most of their games will be aired on that channel this season.
