I don't know if anyone has said "the King is dead", but they may have said "the King looks old and slow". I suppose playing nothing but road games can make you look that way. I still don't think they can ride Ruiz singlehandedly to another title this year, and need that alternate scorer. Cobi sometimes fills that role, but without Cien, is more of a playmaker. Sounds like the Revs game was a big wakeup call to a lot of the Galaxy. Will be interesting to see how they respond tomorrow. I'm sure they're looking forward to going back to Dragon Stadium.
The King needs a "number 10 shart" that can create chances for its forwards and help it maintain posession and cohesion in MF. If the old one on the bench can't do it, the King needs to go out and get another one!
