Just wanted to wish the boards here a very Happy St. Patty's Day. Which brings me to the next idea - the Metros should have gone searching for talent in Ireland. The Emerald Isle has a lot of up and coming players who deserve to be taken a look at. But alas, the wee folk haven't wrought it so....let's just settle for a few pints of Guinness, a shot of Bailey's and enjoy the day when everyone is as lucky as a four leaf clover!!! Here's to the Metros and St. Patrick - cheers!

Maybe Roy Keane will want to spend his final seasons here someday. Talk about getting fannies in the seats!

We have had one Joe Tiernan since 1996. That is enough Irishmen on the Metros for me.

How can you forget Ian Hennessey, Brian Kelly, and perpetual nearly-Metro O'Neill Peart?

Also, didn't we draft someone named Pat O'Kelly in 96? I think he retired before the inaugural season even started.

Tommy Smyth is terrific. One of the best if not THE best. I still enjoy his call on Champions League games.
