Just wanted to wish a Shanah Tovah to everyone -- even if you're not a member of the tribe. Have a sweet new year!

    Shanah Tovah!

So, how do we celebrate it?

Most importantly, are there any restrictions on drinking?

No restrictions at all. Celebrate with a glass of wine. The tradition is to eat apples dipped in honey, to symbolize a sweet new year. If you've never tried this, I recommend it highly. Bread dipped in honey is good too (if you can get your hands on a nice, round challah, that's the best).

    Alright, thanks for the info.

I'll pour some honey over some apples, my daughter will appreciate that.

And, I'll have a glass of wine in honor of the Jewish festival. Shanah Tovah!

What about kissing?! Any restrictions on kissing?
