As one thread from the sCrew board says, make sure to wear your Nats jersey to your favorite Mexican restaurant. Or at least a T-shirt with this on the front:

Re: Happy Cinco De Mayo ?

Goff's article in the Post today said that Cerritos was invited to the White House today for Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Do Salvadorans celebrate Mexican Independence Day, or is this like W waving to Stevie Wonder ?

Re: Happy Cinco De Mayo ?

I don't mean to come down on you, but after living in AZ, this has become a legend that I always feel compelled to correct. Cinco de Mayo has very little to do with being a Mexican Independence Day, it does deal with the Mexicans defending their sovereignty (or international forclosure), though.

And only Mexico, and beer companies in the US celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Hey now... They werent half bad during that whole Napoleon thing!

Luckily for us its kind of been downhill for the suckers ever since :D

--You have to love an army whose best soldiers (the French Foriegn Legion) consists of soliders from other countries.

oh and as if that isnt enough....

Why are the avenues approaching the Arc de Triomphe lined with trees?

Because the Germans like shade when they march :D
