It is now a few minutes after midnight in Norway so "Gratulerer Med Dagen Unni!!" I hope that the Courage will have a great result against Atlanta on Unni's birthday. A victory against the much hated Beat would give the Courage a nice boost and really help to start turning this season around in a very positive way.

Unni Lehn has been playing quite well for the Courage since returning from her trip to Norway where she scored a goal for the national team in a qualification match for the 2005 European Championships. Starting with her two assists on May 17th (Norway's National Day), Unni has now had four assists in her last three matches for the Courage.

I loved Unni's "surfer girl" goal scoring celebration last season after she found the back of the net against the Beat in an important Courage victory. It would be very cool to see Unni score another goal or two against her least favorite WUSA team on her birthday in the nationally televised PAX game of the week.

I was also very happy to find out earlier this week from the Norwegian website "toppserien.com" that Unni has been named to the World Team starting lineup for the WUSA All-Star game. I'm really looking forward to my return trip to North Carolina for the All-Star game and I would love to meet other Courage and WUSA fans at SAS Stadium. I plan to bring a huge Norwegian flag with me and will be wearing my "good luck" Henning Berg #4 Norwegian National Team shirt (the one I wore when the Courage knocked off the mighty "Thugs" from Atlanta in last year's playoff match at SAS ;) ) so please say "hi" if you happen to see me at SAS Stadium on June 19th.

    "Heia Courage!!"
