    Congrats to the Aussies...

As fellow stealers of continents from aboriginal peoples, we salute you. By the way, did your women's team do another nude calendar this year?

If the aboriginal people can't protect their own land, that's their shortcoming and that's their loss.
On the other hand they should be fortunate that the Australian government is very generous nowadays and tries its best to fix the wrongs... although nothing will change the past, the actions of non aboriginal Australians today I think should be enough to put most of the anger aside. For those who are still angry at the Australians of European descent, what really do you expect them to do? Pack up and leave for Europe? Then what about the Hungarians who originated from Central Asia? Do they go back too then? What about Turks who were also originally non-native to the Anatolian peninsular?

If we all went back to where we came from, it would be terribly crowded in the Rift valley.

    That's my point.
I find the "this is actually Aboriginal land" or "this is actually Native American land," movements ridiculous because they are hypocritical and short sighted.
At one point in time, everyone was a foreign influence.
If one side takes over so thoroughly that now they're a part of that land, then it's their country. Like would you kick out the Swedes so the Saami can reclaim what they claim to be theirs?
Or you could kick out the Russians and send them to Scandinavia where they first came from. The Rus were vikings u know?
