After this result, it should be no problem for Hapoel to reach the group stage of the Euroleague.

Looks like Hapoel also got a really tough group for Europa:

    Hamburg
    Celtic
    Hapoel Tel-Aviv
    Rapid Vienna

The draws this year definitely like giving us Austrian and German teams. I don't mind the Austrians ones at all, but the German teams I don't like as much. ;)

And Celtic and also Juve in the CL. Are you influencing these draws? :)

Expect Palestine day in the match against Celtic...

and if worse come to worse...seeing Berkovic brag about his day there and what strategy they use, like he knows anything...

Not really surprising when knowing about Celtic's embarrassing away weakness during the last years. Congrats to Hapoel on turning around the match within the last 15 minutes.

What a great win! It's good that Israeli football got at least one good result to top off a bad few weeks.

Vermouth was fantastic, Kashtan is an idiot for not selecting him. Vucicevic looked good too, credit to Guttman for buying him and favoring an attacking style.

And Hamburg lost in Vienna. Can Hapoel really be the class of this group? ;)

    Update

Rapid Wien 0-3 Hapoel Tel Aviv
    Currently in the 73rd minute

Yadin put Hapoel up in the first half and Vermouth & Natcho added in the second. According to One, the Rapid fans were hurling anti-semitic slurs at the Hapoel supporters.

The other Group C game was scoreless. Hapoel Tel Aviv leads the group, and with half the clubs having played 4 games and half having played 3, Hapoel Tel Aviv has tied for the second best goal differential of the 48 clubs in the Europa League.

Just saw the goals on German tv. Wow, what a stunner the 1:0 was (a little bit deflected, though)!

You are lucky. I watch Fox Soccer Report last night here in the US and they didn't show highlights from this match.

Don't get too cocky Haifa. The season is young.

Besides, Europe is a whole different ball game. As I said, score a goal first and then talk shit.
