According to Soccernet Cherundelo gets the start.

On FSC about 1/2 hour delay right now. So I will not post the score yet for those who want to watch from close to the beginning.

    1-0 Hannover Stajner in 32

Cherundelo has been OK so far. One poor pass, but a good tackle to end a dangerous counter for Eintracht a couple of minutes before the goal.

2-0 now late in the match. Would be great if Hannover could get their first victory with Steve C. back in the starting lineup.

Hannover 2-0 FT. Cherundelo plays the entire match.

Can't ask for a better debut than that - three points and a clean sheet. We'll take that any day of the week.

I watched the last half-hour or so.He lost a couple physical battles down the side, but was very solid otherwise.

FSC noted that he had been more involved in the first half.

He was ok today, but not as good as he usually is. Did not seem to be fully in sync with the rest of the team and sometimes got caught in bad positions. Even seemed a little slower than usual and ran out of gas in the second hald. Considering that it was his first game back, he did pretty well.

I share the optimism of most of the ppl here. Dolo will be back to normal soon enough and bring us (96 and USMNT) a lot of joy.

dolo held his own, he didnt contribute to the offensive end as much as he used to but maybe that was the game plan?

I think it's both. Lienen puts very much focus on the defense, that's why all of our defenders are not really known to contribute alot to the attacking game. And Steve was a bit rusty and not used to play with the team obviously. There are some new players he has never played with in the team so of course it will take time.

Still, a great start to season, 3 draws , one win while dealing with a lot of injuries is not too shabby.

    I kinda like this pic:

Actually it is a video screen where they greet every player of the team.
    Nevertheless a cool picture :)

What struck me was that he tackled well. I don't remember him tackling like that.

    What is he, 6-7?

Man, that's tall, especially for a soccer player! I guess we know who guards Koller when they play Dortmund.

Per is listed at 198 cm (6'6") on Hannover's own site. Stevie is listed at 170 cm (~ 5'6 1/2"). Koller was listed at 2.02 by Dortmund.

And Per is good in the air ... on the ground however, it's a different story. He's had a very difficult time in recent German internationals. Of course, he's not even 21 yet.
