But I haven't voted in the poll yet! On the one hand, I agree. This seems like Republicants crying and clutching their pearls about something that is essentially nothing, as is their custom. On the other hand, the irony of watching the Obama Administration, probably the worst administration ever when it comes transparency and whistleblowing, pull off intellectual yoga is positively foul.
Well, we can add more content but most people is already tired or the Bern and the Bernsters... Anyways... Bernie booed by House dems: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/bernie-sanders-booed-house-democrats-225161 Bernie to endorse Hillary? http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/bern...igns-talks-endorsement-week/story?id=40389661
We got too many threads that seem similar and I'm not sure where to post. Maybe we should close this and start a Bernie watch thread.
Bernie was good on Chris Hayes last night, and effusive in his praise for Hillary's new college affordability proposal. My theory is that this was dragged out because 1) he wanted one more win, and 2) he wanted to give his core time to get used to Hillary as nominee before endorsing. It's also gratifying that his wins have been more about party platform than primary processes. And while I don't like Wasserman-Schultz, I do think it says something that HRC wouldn't give Bernie her head on a platter. Anyway, Bernie was far from an ideal candidate, but as a progressive he served my agenda well in that he pushed the discussion, platform & winning candidate to the left, and reintroduced some pretty fringe leftist concepts to the mainstream discourse. He also provided a blueprint for future leftist candidates. I'm happy I voted for him. That said, I'm happy Hillary won & that he's supporting her, because I think the GoP would've found it very easy to go full Lee Atwater on him.
1. There you go again... The 1% making all the decisions. 2. Bernie promised his supporters to stick around to the end. It's not the end yet. Why do you hate America? 3. In all seriousness, a BernieWatch thread is cool. But it's gotta be a Rolex, bro. Bernie's got standards, you know. 4. Might I suggest, The Official BernieWatch Thread: Rolex Limited Edition, LLC (the LLC for tax purposes and all...). Bernie has upped his game. 8. I forget what 8 was for.
That means a lot to me. I struggled to figure out a way to get to #8, and I was drawing a blank. I thought... maybe if I go #4 and multiply it by 2, it would be an easy solution for sarcastic symmetry. But then I remembered that the Violent Femmes were the ultimate slacker band, and slackers don't do math. B/c it's hard. And then I thought, "What would Hillary do if we were in the situation room deciding whether or not to take Bin Laden out?" And I drew up the courage to just say, "F*** it. I'm taking creative license and going allllllllll the way to 8!" #personalactorsstudio #VH1BehindtheSarcasm

River. I'm too busy today. Remind me next week. I don't want to get y'all's hopes up. It isn't THAT great of a story. More of a "brush with greatness" thing.
