Nice article that I just uncovered published in the Virginian Pilot: http://www.pilotonline.com/sports/sp0822mar.html I think one of the (many) major problems the old management had was over-pricing. $25K for a suite, and $100K for advertising on the scoreboard are way too high for this league. The new price points the new owner mentions are much more realistic. I also think they should get a new coach. Someone to give them a new direction and instill confidence in the players. Here's hoping that 2003 will be a much better season for the Mariners.
