I may be underestimating their fighting capability somewhat, but they're no more than a speed bump for the IDF.

So if war is hell then rape & mutilation is A-OK. That's what I've learned from this thread.

I’m inclined to agree at this point. I’ve been primarily identifying with Israel as the original victims of the attack, but even looking at it from a tactical perspective their actions are doing serious damage to their standing within the international community, which may hurt them in the long run.

Did you notice that a couple of them were pressing the button but Foxx barreled on about their "silence"? I bet you did!

Meh, as long as the US holds their hand & keeps the tax dollars/weaponry flowing they won't give a crap. We've seen this before.

No, that's not true. I saw something earlier that the level of devastation in such a short period of time has been greater than ever before in such an area and particularly in an area that's densely populated and with nowhere for the civilian population to go.

Quite honestly the way they've responded is absolute lunacy. There doesn't seem to be any plan of what they're trying to achieve, other than a simple punishment beating.

So, what is this all for?

Look at it this way, if Hamas had the ability to bomb Israel to smithereens from the air they absolutely would. But if Israeli soldiers had the ability to rape and torture Gazans while calling their families to brag about it they would not. While the results are brutal in both cases, there’s a pretty clear difference in terms of intent.

I suspect Joe Mac would have been on board with Mango's internment camp idea, probably.

Quite honestly, if I thought there was some sort of master plan and they were working towards something, I wouldn't be as bothered about it. I mean, obviously, I'd be upset about the death and destruction but at least there would be an end in sight.

But if they've genuinely 'only killed a sixth of the hamas fighters, does that mean they're going to need another 10 months of fighting?

Y'know, where are we going with all this?

Egypt & SA have the capability to do so. Why don't they?

But this is the old "If my auntie had dick, she'd be my uncle" stuff, isn't it. They can't, so they won't.

Simply put, unless they try and sort out a peace agreement at some point with the Palestinians, (and they've done next to nothing to try and achieve it over the past couple of decades), they will NEVER have peace.

Who here has approved of those crimes exactly? This repeated posting as if this topic is filled with folks gleeful at the crimes committed against Israelis is kind of weird to be honest. Could you point me to someone who has expressed approval at that stuff?

Come on Andy, the proposal of giving 98% of West Bank, all of Gaza, and East Jerusalem is not what I would call "next to nothing."

So the presence of 30000 Hamas combatants, which I believe is the IDF estimate, is justification to bomb indiscriminately among a civilian population of 2+ million.

This thread needs to be what we show the aliens to make them realize we're not worth the effort.

Or the robots. Whichever comes first.

You think they are bombing “indiscriminately”?

Just for the fun of it, eh? Maybe even TRYING to kill little babies? That’s what you think Israel is doing?

I was responding to the idea that Hamas’ brutal tactics were a result of their lack of means. It had nothing to do with posters on this thread, and that’s kind of a weird assumption to make based on the context.

How do you sell it to your own country and population that a group killed 1400 of your people, kidnapped another 200 and you won't do nothing. Or did 9/11 and you won't do anything just not to fall into Hamas trap

If you were the parent of those killed in 9/11, 10/7 or kidnapped what will you say about the leadership of your country
