What you are explaining is all very understandable. Heck, I have one friend who is an American jew who has PTSD from October 7th.

But there is a difference between what is understandable and what is right. (And my knowledge is limited only to the above.) But this would be a very easy case in which to do the right thing.

OP said something like "desk Nazi". A hard disagree on that position.

According to this, the number of victims might have been underestimated and under-reported since the use of those bombs would effectively vaporize the remains.

The israelis are entitled to control who comes in and out of their regime. What they don’t have any right to do is control who comes and goes from (and within) the West Bank. They treat the Palestinians like cattle to be milked during their lifetimes and then slaughtered if no longer useful or too much of a problem.

There are plenty of countries that would happily treat that child if the israeli military didn’t have complete control over Palestine. No self respecting people would submit to israeli control. They need to free Palestine.

  8. Are you seriously excusing the bureaucratic murdering of a child?
Someone in another thread quoted a Black American leader, that every child in the world is the responsibility of everyone of us.
By the way, talking about ptsd, don't the Gaza suffer from it after years of bombing, like that female doctor, who lost more than a dozen of her family members?
PTSD is an excuse for execution of a child by court order?
What kind of a human being are you?

This story is a bit odd and I wonder if there's more to it. It was first published in December I believe.

There are countless examples of Palestinians receiving medicines and medical aid from and in Israel for all sorts of ailments. I'm not at all familiar with post 10/7 laws and their implications on such treatments and from what I've read here, the court cited that insufficient evidence was provided as to why a child couldn't be treated in Jordan (as an example). I really do hope it's not some stupid bureaucratic nuance preventing this from happening.

  10. "Every child in the world is your responsibility," is Marian Wright Edelman motto.
She is a prominent balack American civil rights activist and the founder of the Children's Defense Fund.
Edelman has dedicated her career to advocating for the rights of children and ensuring that all children have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

This is the right answer to that insane and immoral Israeli act.

It is. OTOH the criminal Bibi regime has killed thousands of Palestinian kids without so much as batting an eyelash.

  13. According to the Lancet the Gaza death toll is even worse than numbers reported:
    https://www.thelancet.com/journals/langlo/article/PIIS2214-109X(25)00522-4/fulltext

British study: 75,000 dead in Gaza in first phase of war, more than half children and women
In the first sixteen months of the war in Gaza, more than 75,000 Palestinians were killed. That is much more than the official figures of the Palestinian authorities indicated at the time. More than half of the victims are children, women and the elderly. This is shown by a new British study published in the medical journal The Lancet. The investigation, which The Guardian and Al Jazeera write about, covers the period between October 7, 2023 - the start of the Israeli offensive after the Hamas attack - and January 2025. According to the researchers, 75,200 people in Gaza were killed by violence. That is more than 25,000 more than the local authorities reported at the time.

The figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health were often questioned by critics. The researchers argue that these figures are reliable, as the United Nations has done before. Last month, the Israeli army confirmed that at least 70,000 people were killed in Gaza. According to the British investigation, more than 42,200 women, children and people over 65 have died by violence during the war in Gaza. That is 56 percent of the total number of victims.

In France today, it is quite fascinating to observe the extent to which Netanyahu's supporters on one side and the RN (National Rally, formerly FN for National Front) political party on the other are aligned. The are all buddies. lol.
It's ironic, considering that the National Front (FN), a far-right political party, was created in 1972 by former Waffen-SS members and neo-Nazis (as well as fascists nostalgic for French Algeria).

For several years now, the RN has been determined to erase its origins and its dark past. It claims not to be anti-Semitic, lol, that the Jew is its friend, lol again, and that it is a respectable party. And it's working! When I see the hordes of young idiots who sympathize with the RN, stupid and ignorant of History, just like Netanyahu's supporters who seem to have forgotten that 6 million of their ancestors were exterminated by the very same people who founded the RN.

Hand in hand, they advance together, sharing the same hatred of immigrants, especially if they are Arab (or Black). Fascists of all stripes, unite! For a white Judeo-Christian dictatorship!
(PS: If I were Jewish, I'd still be wary...)

    Francesca Albanese :
"The death toll in Gaza in the first 15 months of Israel’s attack was 53% higher than official figures according to @LancetGH. So the real figures as of now could be over 110,000 deaths, or 124,000 including indirect deaths, 5.4% of Gaza population. And Israel isn’t stopping."

    And that's probably still underestimated.
Well, how's the Costa Riviera project in Gaza coming along?

Imperial mask fully off. F-22 stealth fighters arrived in Israel overnight. Clear integration of US military into Israel despite Iran threatening no attack and us recently “destroying” their nuclear program.

Maybe Iran really did win that 12 day War huh! The US and Israel are certainly acting like they didn’t accomplish whatever their objectives were.

Israel may be looking to replace workers from Gaza and the West Bank with workers from India, at least a few.

"Israel to open manufacturing, restaurant sector for Indian workers. Protocol signed earlier today. Over 50,000 Indian workers expected in Israel in 5 years: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri"

I'm sure nobody cares anyways. Most read headlines when it comes to Israel (brainwashed to the core).

You could read the actual bbc article instead of the hasbara troll’s tweet, and the bbc article even has cctv of the murder, plus this:

“Unknown to Jad and his friends, a group of four Israeli soldiers had waited behind and were standing just metres away, to their left, tucked behind the wall. Jad's friends spotted the soldiers first and ran away up the alley. Jad either didn't see them or saw them too late.

The CCTV footage shows the lead soldier enter the frame less than three metres from Jad, then appear to raise his rifle and open fire. Jad makes a movement that suggests this is the moment he is hit. In the camp, bullet holes can be found raking the wall in this exact spot.

Jad, likely already wounded, then runs up the alley and the Israeli soldier appears to turn, arcing his or her rifle after Jad. The CCTV footage shows dust being kicked up in the alley ahead, suggesting that the IDF soldier kept firing at Jad from behind as he ran away.”

    And this:

“In the footage, you see Jad collapse after just a few metres, disappearing out of the frame as he falls. Shortly after, bystander footage, discreetly filmed by a camp resident, picks up from the other direction to the CCTV. This footage would capture some of the final moments of Jad's life.

It shows the teenager appear to make repeated attempts to get the soldiers' attention, by waving his arms and throwing his hat towards them. The soldiers appear to ignore his efforts and kick the hat back.

Alerted to the shooting, Jad's mother attempted to reach him on foot but was blocked by the Israeli soldiers, she and other eyewitnesses said. Another resident made an emergency call and an ambulance was dispatched immediately, arriving at the scene eight minutes later, according to call logs provided to the BBC by the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The lead paramedic, Hassan Fouqha, said his team was stopped by Israeli soldiers at gunpoint and prevented from reaching Jad, who was just a hundred yards or so away, in their sight.”

As horrifying as this is, this is normal behavior for the IDF: this is what they do on a daily basis.

They don’t even make any efforts with their lies anymore. The iDF and “Honest Reporting” etc basically spew AI slop instead of giving fact based statements.

There is CCTV of the incident as well as multiple eye witness accounts, all of which are in the BBC story. The CCTV shows the soldiers planting a rock next to the boy and taking a photo.

“When asked specifically about the allegation that the soldier had planted a rock next to Jad, the IDF ignored the question.”

Perhaps HonestReporting can give their response to that question.

Indeed. The rise of this fancy new thing called "video" tells us just how often and how shamelessly the IDF lies.

    I doubt it.

It’s all social media rumour, not substantiated by any major news outlet yet. I know there is strict military censorship in israel but the social media rumours are saying the israeli press have covered it up as a car crash, so there should be a cover story already in the press. I can’t see any israeli press claiming he died in a car crash.

Probably one of the few Israelis I wouldn't mind being killed by Iranian missile.
