This strategy of provocative protest is well known. I'm pretty sure that the flotilla members wish they had been beat up even just a little. At this point the only use out of this has been rage-baiting for the true-believers.

 

May I remind you that the flotilla was intercepted in international water - a breach of maritime law and freedom of navigation...you know, the same rules the US constantly use as an excuse to "rage-bait" it's adversaries all around the world.
