In the Netzarim Corridor in the central part of the Gaza Strip, at least 35 people have been killed and several others injured. This is reported by sources at a local hospital to Al Jazeera.
Since the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) began distributing relief supplies on May 27, there have been reports of Palestinians being killed almost every day.
Established independent aid organizations have been strongly criticizing GHF for weeks.
Due to the limited number of distribution points, Palestinians are forced to leave areas where no aid is coming. Especially the north of Gaza. This would make aid a factor in the depopulation of parts of Gaza, which Israeli officials have said is the goal in Gaza.

Ismail al-Thawabta, director-general of the Government Media Office, the mouthpiece of the authorities in the enclave, said on Thursday that a total of 409 seekers of aid had been killed and 3203 were injured.
These numbers have not been independently verified. Israel also does not allow news media into the region.

Vandals boasting about vandalism. Hope they're caught and prosecuted. Palestinians deserve better than this.

Mass demonstration Red Line protest against violence in Gaza attracts more people than last time

Tens of thousands of people gathered on Sunday afternoon at the Malieveld in The Hague for the Red Line protest against the government's policy on Israel.
    Redactie Trouw15 June 2025, 16:10

The participants in the Red Line protest in The Hague are back on the Malieveld. The group of demonstrators walked Sunday afternoon from the Malieveld, where there was first a stage program, to the Peace Palace and back. The Malieveld is the end point of the protest. According to the organization, 150,000 people took part in the protest against the violence in Gaza. At the previous Red Line protest in The Hague in May, the organization estimated the turnout at more than 100,000 people.

    ...

    In Brussels too

Tens of thousands of people have also taken to the streets in Brussels to demonstrate against Israeli violence in Gaza. According to the police, 75,000 people are taking part in the Belgian Red Line march. The organizers think there are 100,000 demonstrators. As with the demonstration in The Hague, the demonstrators in Brussels are all dressed in red to call on politicians to draw a "red line" against the violence in the Gaza Strip. They want the Belgian government and the European Union to take tougher action against Israel.

I would have thought Palestinians should be more concerned about Israel’s continuing genocide against them but there you go…

There will always be ghouls who celebrate tragedies. But it's not normally government policy. Unless your government is controlled by Hamas, whose leaders rejoice over death -- including, sometimes, the deaths of their own people.

And you say this with a straight face as Bibi just incited the war he's been dreaming about for decades.

Wrong link, I think. Don't see this link discussing that. But I do think everyone should the link you posted anyway, because it's rather relevant to the thread.

I looked into various online medias analyzing his report and the consensus is :
    • almost 400,000 people – at least 377,000 – have disappeared from Gaza’s pre-genocide population of 2.227 million, reducing it to 1.85 million.
The post below is using the same link but I can also see the maps whwn I used PDF preview on Harvard website. The researcher uses data and spatial mapping to show how the Israeli army’s siege of Gaza and indiscriminate attacks on civilians in the enclave have led to a drastic drop in its population while condemning the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
    • “Overall, these aid compounds seem to reflect a logic of control, not assistance, and it would be a misnomer to call them “humanitarian aid distribution hubs.” They do not adhere to humanitarian principles, and much of their design and operation is guided by other objectives, which undermine their declared purpose. As with the “advance warning” evacuation notices described in earlier reports, the ostensibly humanitarian measures seem to be less about adhering to international humanitarian law and practice, and more about making a show of doing so, while using them to advance the IDF’s tactical and strategic efforts in the war. If an attacker cannot adequately and neutrally feed a starving population in the wake of a disaster it is ongoingly creating, it is obligated to allow other humanitarian agencies to do so."

That number is not surprising to me. I dont know if it was the BBC or the guardian (it was a pro-israel outlet) that last year came out with an article that stated the number of deaths could have plausibly surpassed 200 thousand, counting both direct and indirect (starvation, diseases etc) deaths.

    Thanks for posting that.

Some will find a way to legitimize that by Israel's right to defend itself, or will reject the fault on the people of Gaza themselves.

Looks like they prefer to "defend themselves" against people who can't fight back. We all witnessed what happens when they do attack people who can slap them back. They FAFO

Israeli army deliberately shoots at hungry Gazans: 'It's a battlefield'
A month after the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) began providing aid in Gaza, this new form of food distribution is making headlines on a daily basis. And not in a positive sense. Israeli soldiers now admit to shooting at Palestinians near GHF locations. "Where I was stationed, between one and five people were killed every day." Gilad Perez 30-06-25, 08:45 Last update: 10:02

For people of my generation and being from a western/European country with tales from people, who lived and suffered the horrors of the German occupation, the Star of David is a symbol and reminder of the Holocaust.

For the current generation the Holocaust is history from long ago, for those not from western countries it's just been there, experienced it for centuries from those whites...so get in the line" story. It might be hard to swallow, but for people not part of the north-Atlantic white space (=North America, Anglo-Saxon pacific common wealth and Europe) this whole Holocaust thing has no meaning to them and they couldnot care less about it , as it's not part of their history.

For this current generation and the non-white world at large the Star of David represents what they see and read about Gaza and the Westbank.
According to idf reports the Gaza population they counted is around 1.8 million, which makes a whopping 400,000 missing (read: killed).
It became a symbol of massacre, genocide, cruelty.
That's the legacy of bibi and those who didnot stop him.
The Star of David has become a symbol of perpetrators of an atrocity.
