Jews come from a limited gene pool, so we're all pretty closely related. It's kind of like a big family. And as with any family, there are a few people that you'd just as soon not be related to.

Netanyahu offers Hamas $1m for each hostage and amnesty for Oct 7 kidnappers

An Israeli official said the hostage-takers and their families would be allowed to leave Gaza and avoid capture or punishment under the agreement, with the Israeli government paying millions for the hostages.

The initiative was put in motion following Sunday’s security cabinet meeting, at which the hostage situation was discussed.

Hamas has not yet responded to the initiative, first revealed by the Israeli broadcaster Channel 12.

 

With apparently a new attack from Iran coming, and with Gallant out of the picture, to be replaced by a non-general in the most important role in Israel at the time of war, I really have no idea what to expect.

Of course the usual suspects are making excuses as always. I guess next time someone on the streets of US or college campus yells something derogatory about Jews or Israelis (which was a tiny group of soccer fans to begin with), it will be ok to hunt those people down with bats, knives, clubs, throw them down into rivers, into subway train lines, and apply mob mentality, while making them scream that they love Jews and/or Israel. But sure, continue to excuse rabid anti-semitism and modern day pogroms as something normal.

Deputy Director General at the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs: “Our Ministry had a clear indication of an organized attempt to attack the Israeli football fans. This information was shared yesterday at 7 PM with the relevant Israeli security agencies, who immediately shared it with their Dutch counterparts. Unfortunately , the Dutch security agencies , although they had this very concrete information in their hands, failed to secure the well-being of the Israeli fans.

This was a planned and coordinated attack on Israeli fans, so any talk about some retribution b/c of action of a small group of fans is a hot pile of shit.

A large group of young people hit and kicked an adult man at Bijlmer Arena Station on Friday evening around 9:25 p.m. and pushed him onto the track. The victim was also kicked in the head.

According to the witness, the victim spoke no Dutch and some English, his accent is said to be Italian. The man would be about forty years old. Shortly before the assault, he allegedly kissed an underage boy on the mouth without asking.
