I was wondering when and in what way Pakistan would get involved, but I didnot anticipate this move.

 

I hope for Israel's sake that it isn't true. If they keep this up with starting fires in the region, all they are accomplishing is slowly uniting the Muslim world to take action against them - doing it via proxy does somewhat provide a cover for them like the Russians while arguing that they aren't a party to that war if it came to that. They'd be taking a page from NATO's book who argue that they aren't a party to the war in Ukraine despite arming them.

“Better” implies some good present in one of the parties. Worse doesn’t require any redeeming qualities to be present in either party.

israel is clearly worse than Hamas by any objective metric you use. Numbers killed, numbers of crimes committed, number of genocides attempted, years of illegal military occupation regimes established, areas of land illegally occupied, number of famines attempted, number of hospitals destroyed, number of schools bombed….
