How about Agoos for his pass (spasm ?) in the Jamaica WC '98 qualifier at RFK that allowed Jamaica to leave with a 1-1 draw? This is perhaps only second to his wicked volley past Friedel.

I think you can leave Hejduk, Pope and McBride out of that mix..

    My nominees...

Joe-Max for kicking a foot behind the ball on his PK vs Brazil in the 1998 Confederations Cup, sending a divot that Tiger Woods would have been proud of farther than the ball. Dida had time to dive twice to save the PK

    Earnie vs Honduras @ RFK

Kreis for his red vs Guatemala after being on the pitch for 10 minutes. If McBride hadnt scored the shorthanded goal, J/K 2002 wouldnt have ever happened

Meola for getting near posted TWICE in USA 1994. That Bebeto goal still hurts...

So I guess two goals aren't enough for you.

How about Agoos vs. Poland. I'm thinking specifically of the play where he was out of position keeping Poland onsides, then promptly got beat for the goal.

    That was comical though :D

    no

missing a pk in a crucial WC qualifier is never good enough.

    Bebeto's goal was far post.

Of course I don't remember the other goals vs the US too well.

But Bebeto's goals was far post. Trust me.

Treetaliano, that was Eddie Lewis and not Jason Kreis that received the read card vs Guatamalo.

However, we can put Kreis in anyway for sheer futility on the USMNT scene.

HELLLLLOOOO.... why hasn't anyone listed ABMOD?

How about membership in the Hall for a long list of BigSoccer posters who only like to nag at certain US players and coaches for being less than perfect?

Burns has to get the nod, but how about Lalas -- anyone remember his numerous performances in games leading up to WC '98. Vs. Costa Rica @ Costa Rica, or how about that lovely performance against the Dutch.

Dooley also played like a coward against the Germans in WC '98.

Heydude's obvious foul in the box that lead to the Berhalter penalty call...

    Did someone mention Albright?

    Ah so many memories.

That was Lewis. Didn't Kreis get a dumb card in either the away Guatemala or CR game that year?

Lewis could also get into to the hall for his televised double snot-shot during the Gold Cup.

And how about Mathis' televised, "I got a ************ing red card," comment during the Ecuador friendly. :D
