Clavijo is doing a great job as coach, looks like they'll get Cuba for the final qualifying round for the Digicel Cup. With some luck, they could make the Gold Cup.

Yeah, GO HAITI!!! I think they got a real shot of making it to the Gold Cup next year. It's going to be a tough matchup when they play Costa Rica next month.

I think Haitians will win 3-1 mainly cause the ticos could barely get by Cuba (4-3 on aggregate) and Haiti has a similar style.

If anyone remembers Gold Cup 2003, Was it Brazil's entire B-team that played in the tourney? I thought it was the A-team but just missin most of the stars still playing league in Europe. But i still got to give it to Mexico because they put on a show against the Brazilians in that Gold Cup. I hope the CONCACAF teams continue to dominate our Gold Cup. I know that South Africa is one of the guest teams, does anyone know the other?

You are right, CR really had serious problems with cuba, but the aggregate score was not 4-3, it was 3-3 and CR won with the away goal rule

I dont know what you mean byu penalty shootouts, since they were any penalties on that particular series.... I know for a fact that if Cuba goes now to play in CR(SAPRISSA STADIUM, NOT aLAJUELAS) they will lose and by more than 2.... CR is back in shape

Re: Haiti, national Team [R] coach?

In that case what coach will take haiti to CR?

excellent job by the haitian team, after losing 3-0 in the first 17 minutes, they reorganized their team and had an excellent comeback.
A 3-3 final score shows how intense this game was. Congratulations to the haiti nat'l team!

Cuba vs haiti this sunday? seems a tought game, this game will decide the 3rd best caribbean country (assuming JAM and T&T are better ranked). Haiti just had a good friendly game last nite, that will really help them for this game. I wish the best for' em
    I predict a 2-0 haiti win

Is that away goal rule going to used in this series? like if Haiti wins 2-1 and the aggregate score is 2-2, then would Haiti advance since they scored 2 goals on Cuba's home field?

Re: Haiti vs St Vincent Grenadines

I read this in the forum, with respect to a game played 4th October 2004 in Fort Lauderdale, Haiti beatin St.Vincent 1-0. Can anyone tell me if this was a full international match?

PS - According to Ugandan newspapers, Haiti will play Uganda in Miami on 30th January. This seems a bit of a strange fixture, but apparently, Uganda are going on a tour of the Caribbean, and will play other islands, up until the 15th February (all paid for by sponsors L-Sporto), then they are going to Zanzibar, Saudi Arabia and Qatar before their next World Cup Qualifying match against South Africa.

Re: Haiti vs St Vincent Grenadines

Yeah, i heard that too. Haiti and Uganda are going to play a friendly on the 30 of January in Miami which is like Haiti's second home field. Haiti is ranked higher but i don't really know Africa's style of play besides teams like Cameroon, Nigeria, and Senegal(all those team's players play in europe). Well, Good Luck to Haiti.

Well, at least it gives a chance for Haiti to play against teams from other confederations. They're 2-3 against teams from other regions since 2002. Good Luck to Haiti!
