to add insult to injury thats a potential playoff match now. I hope Reading sort it out by then if theyre gonna decide to go up the hard way. Obviously we are pulling for Reading or Cardiff over here (for me in that order, i wany Marcus to get back to the top flight where he belongs)

From a post-game report:

Hahneman looked out of sorts to me. A great shot stopper, I thought his decision making defending crosses was bang on and clearly drilled. He came when he was meant to and, unusually for him, stayed on the line when he was meant to. It wasn't his fault for the goal, a deflection, unsighted, he had no chance (although one has to wonder why there were so many players in front of him). My beef with him and the reason I can claim that he had a poorish game was his kicking. Too many sliced kicks, too many first time kicks when he could have taken a touch, too many time touches when he should have hit it first time. It was summed up for me in the 95th minute, when he scuffed a goal kick straight to a Sheffield player. Not good and deeply souring.

Their form right now is eerily similar to the form they had around the same time last season. Seems like they're short on passion and ideas.

Sigh. I REALLY miss RichardL's write-ups of Reading matches. That man has a real gift (and excellent Avatars too).
