Marcus and Reading are down 2-0 at home to Preston in the second half of their FA Cup replay.

Eddie still out, here in the US after his dad died.

Goater grabbed a goal back, but Preston move on with a 2-1 victory.

Sounds like Marcus gifted the second goal. From PNE's site:

Official - MLS is better than Div 1. I can't believe two MLS teams could serve up a bigger pile of crap than these two teams did tonight.

Hahnemann at fault for the second goal, with a defender as an accomplice. Marcus has a big problem in not commanding his area and not communicating with the defenders around him. Two players go for the same ball. Both get in each others way. Neither claims it. 2-0 Preston.

He might have been a bit at fault for the first too, but it was hard to tell from the angle I saw it from. It was a shot from a tight angle which looked saveable, and he stayed down after it went in as if he was embarrassed, but I couldn't tell for sure. He has developed a worrying habit of mis-kicking the ball into the stands lately as well.

He's not on form, but nor is anybody else.
