Marcus may overtake Jaime Ashdown in the pipes. Depends on whether his calf strain has recovered.

    10 am kick off.

Uh, I forgot the (R). Too late to edit it. Maybe a Dark or Buff could throw one up before game time.

FT, 3-1. Ambrose got one back for Ipswich, but Forster got his hat trick on 69 minutes after Town went down to ten men.

Marcus had an excellent game today. Although we dominated the majority of the game, Ipswich had a couple of good chances. Marcus made an excellent save straight after we scored our first, and also tipped one over later from a good header. His distribution was excellent and he didn't look in any trouble.

How does Hahnemann compare to KK or Brad? You know, GK's mature late in life, so maybe he's a legitimate candidate for the Nats.

One problem for Marcus is that the US schedules alot of games when a European club team won't want to give up a player. The timing for many matches will make it hard for Bruce to bother Reading and call in Marcus, so he'll go with guys like Tim Howard or Nick Rimando.
