Hi lads. This one kicks off early and i'm not going to the game so i thought i'd just get the thread started.
HT: Millwall 0 Reading 1 Nicky Forster's strike on the stroke of half-time sent Reading into the interval a goal up on Millwall at the New Den. Both goalkeepers had produced top-drawer saves to keep the game goalless until Forster popped up in stoppage-time to drill the Royals ahead. Reading goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann pulled off a stunning save to deny David Livermore, while Tony Warner turned away efforts from Steve Brown and Forster. _________________ game should be about over
Showed up at the Den Saturday and tried to weasel my way in, but they don't sell tickets to non-club members, despite the fact that they were half empty. I didn't know I'd be able to attend in time to arrange for tickets through Reading. For americans though, a must see stadium, a rusting hulk of a place, which looks a lot better in the Nike ad than in real life. From the sounds, it was clear reading were doing well. Question: how common is this no walk up ticket sale thing? I got in at Reading for Gillingham (great place. trully a great place).
